Chapter 201 Missed Calls
At first, he thought the blister was embarrassing, but now? He thought getting burned was actually a great thing.
Cassia walked over with the first–aid kit, serious and focused. She pulled Draven’s hand over and carefully popped the blister and put medicine on it.
No one spoke.
Draven stared at her soft hand holding his.
He was a little jealous earlier when Rosalie got to hold her hand. He didn’t expect he’d get his turn this fast.
Honestly, this burn is really good.
After Cassia finished bandaging him, she frowned a little.
“Try not to get it wet.”
Of course he knew that. Basic common sense.
But coming from her, he wouldn’t mind hearing it again.
“Okay, I’ll remember.” Draven looked at the bandages she put on him, a glint of amusement in his eyes.
After dinner, Cassia carried the dishes to the kitchen to wash.
Draven leaned against the kitchen doorway the whole time, watching.
It was getting late. She needed to go back.
But he wished time would slow down… just a little…
“It’s pretty late, I should head back.”
In the end, she still said it.
“Yeah,” Draven answered softly, not wanting her to leave.
The room fell silent.

Cassia glanced at his hand and opened her mouth like she wanted to say something, but in the end, she didn’t.
“I’ll take you back to the hotel,” Draven said, grabbing his jacket from the couch.
“No need, I’m staying at my villa.”
“You have a villa in Cubresh?” Draven was surprised.
“Yeah.”
Looks like she really has a lot of assets!
Draven smiled, eyes bright. “Then I’ll take you to your villa.”
Cassia felt comfortable around him.
At least he wasn’t like everyone else—every time she mentioned she bought a villa, all she ever got was shock and disbelief, like someone her age couldn’t do that. She’d end up explaining herself forever, and it wore her out. Eventually, it just made her annoyed.
But Draven wasn’t like that.
He believed her.
Draven walked to the door and was about to open it. “Ready?”
“Wait.”
Cassia walked out onto the balcony, pulled out her phone, and snapped a photo of the beautiful view outside.
Click.
After taking the photo, she sent it to Sterling.
It was her habit–whenever she saw something beautiful, she would take a picture and send it to that kid.
Psychology said nice things could help improve someone’s mood, which was good for Sterling’s recovery from autism.
“As beautiful as home,” Cassia typed, then put her phone in her pocket and headed back to the living room.

“Okay, let’s go.”
Sterling got the message and pressed his lips together.
Yeah, it did look as beautiful as home. It reminded him of the house in Dunstino Bay–the one that was just his. Downstairs, there was a sparkling shoreline, just like the one in the photo.
He really wanted to go.
But he also knew Cassia had no real reason or legal right to take him away yet.
His dad and the others would definitely block it.
Who knew how long it would take before Cassia could bring him there?
Meanwhile, Lilian told the Woods that Danica’s hand got hurt.
Back at the hotel in Cubresh, all the students from Zrario High were gathered in the lobby for dinner.
During the meal, Victoria called, worried about Danica.
“Danica, is your hand okay? It won’t mess up your exam, right?” Victoria asked, staring at the bandage on the screen.

“I’m fine, Grandma. The school doctor said it’ll be okay as long as I don’t use too much force. There’s still time before the exam, so I’ll be fine.” Danica gave her a “don’t worry” smile.
To Victoria, that sounded like Danica was just trying to act tough so she wouldn’t worry.
Her little granddaughter had grown up.
Victoria felt relieved, but she still asked, “Are you sure Cassia didn’t do it on purpose?”
Danica fell silent.
She didn’t know how to answer. She wasn’t used to lying to the elders she loved.
