He didn’t want to sit there alone watching Draven show off his affection, so he decided to drag Sterling along with him.
Eating crab was still very tempting for Sterling.
“Come on, I’ll make space for you. This is your safe zone. I promise I won’t cross it,” Seven said as he moved to the other end of the couch and stacked all the pillows in the middle, piling them up high.
When Sterling saw the clear boundary on the couch, he felt safe.
After Sterling sat down, Seven picked up the remote and started flipping channels.
Every channel on the TV was airing New Year’s countdown programs.
“Do you want to watch the countdown?” Seven asked.
He looked at Sterling and quickly realized the kid clearly didn’t like it.
“You don’t like it? That’s okay. Let me think about what kids like to watch…” Seven tilted his head and thought seriously.
“Got it. Ultraman!”
Sterling looked at Seven like he was an idiot.
He was much more mature than kids his age and had long outgrown childish Ultraman shows.
Besides, he just didn’t like talking to people other than Cassia. He wasn’t stupid.
Seven completely misunderstood the look in Sterling’s eyes,
“You want to watch it, right? I knew it,” Seven said to himself and picked the newest Ultraman
movie.
When the unknown Ultraman appeared on screen, the look of disgust on Sterling’s face was unmistakable.
If it weren’t for the late–night crab Seven promised, Sterling wouldn’t have stayed there even one more second.
However, as time passed, Sterling suddenly found these hero–saving–the–world stories kind of interesting.

Seven glanced at Sterling and saw him watching with interest. He thought to himself, I knew it. Kids like Sterling definitely enjoy this stuff.
It really was pretty good. Even he, an adult, got hooked.
On the balcony, Cassia and Draven sat at a small table, drinking wine.
The wine and glasses were all brought by Draven.
Cassia noticed that Draven’s wine–tasting skills were surprisingly impressive.
When she was very young, she once went to a winery out of curiosity and studied wine tasting for a few days.
Later, the expert who taught her even insisted on becoming her student. She found it annoying, so she never went back to that winery again.
Draven placed the poured wine in front of Cassin, making no sound at all.
“Thanks,” Cassia said lightly and lifted the glass to smell it.
“Screaming Eagle?” she asked.
Draven was a little surprised.
He hadn’t expected Cassia to recognize such a rare wine.
“You’ve seen it before?” Draven asked calmly.
What he really wanted to ask was whether she had drunk it before.
It wasn’t that he looked down on her. This wine was just too rare and valuable. Even he, the heir of the Grey Group, could only get a small amount.
With the Woods family’s status, not to mention Brie or Danica, even Victoria might never have tasted it, or even seen it.
He knew Cassia was wealthy. Just one imperial green bracelet she got from the gemstone market could sell for over a million dollars.
But he still believed that no matter how rich Cassia was, she couldn’t possibly compare to the Grey Group.
Cassia took a small sip and nodded. “It really is Screaming Eagle.”
So, she had drunk it before?

Cassia noticed the slight change in his expression but didn’t explain. She simply continued drinking.
Her memories drifted back. When she was studying wine tasting at the winery, the expert there insisted on following her to learn and even gave her some Screaming Eagle.
She found it especially good and kept it, unwilling to drink it. Later, after Geneva took her back to Wood Manor, Cassia thought that Vance was at least her biological father, so she gave those bottles of Screaming Eagle to him.
