Vance had once said that Cassia carried a lot of value and honor. Because of that, many rich families would fight to claim her.
Victoria believed Kaleb was one of them. Because of this, Kaleb chased Cassia even though it cost him a guaranteed spot at Vego University. In Victoria’s mind, Kaleb wanted to claim Cassia for his family’s benefit.
But when the topic turned to volleyball, Victoria’s face stiffened.
The moment she remembered sending Cassia to an expensive volleyball training camp, anger rose in her chest.
Cassia was that good, and she never told her?
Well, she had mentioned it once. But she hadn’t insisted until Victoria believed her.
That brat did it on purpose!
She clearly knew how to play, but she made Victoria waste money signing her up. Did Cassia know how much it cost just to get her into that training camp?
“Just forget Kaleb. He isn’t worth your consideration,” Victoria said sharply.
Cassia leaned back lazily against the couch.
“My life isn’t something you need to worry about. I’ll decide who I want to consider. Isn’t Brie competing in the International Math Olympiad tomorrow? You should focus more on her. Don’t let her mess up and accidentally write the wrong name on her test.”
Victoria was furious.
Normally, she would have scolded Cassia right away.
Yes, Brie had hurt Danica before. But she practiced every day and stayed up late studying. She had even lost weight recently. Everything she did was to get a favorable result at the Vrastin International Math Olympiad.
Cassia didn’t even wish she had done well in her competition. Instead, she mocked Brie and cursed her to fail.
Was that something an older sister should say?
“Brie is smart,” Victoria snapped. “She won’t lose, unlike some people who waste their days doing nothing.”
In the end, Victoria couldn’t help taking a jab.
Cassia raised an eyebrow, sharp and wild, her eyes full of quiet mockery as she looked at Victoria.
“She really needs to work hard,” Cassia said lightly. “One of the proctors for this year is that famous genius singer from the Waters”
A pop star as a math competition proctor? Normally, that would sound ridiculous.
The organizers originally tried very hard to invite Cassia to be a proctor. But she thought it was too troublesome and refused. Later, when they kept asking, she got annoyed and pushed the job onto Zach, letting him take het place.
It just so happened that Zach was filming a reality show about experiencing community life. He was more than happy to take the opportunity.

Chapter 463 Vile Proposal
A genius heir. A top singer. Anyone who watched even one or two shows had heard his name.
“You have heard of Zach?” That actually surprised Victoria.
In her eyes, Cassia was someone who never took school or anything seriously.
As for chess, that was an exception. Maybe she just happened to have talent in that one area.

But with Cassia’s personality, never interested in anything for long, always losing motivation halfway, even if she had talent in chess, what did it matter? If she couldn’t stick with it, she would still end up accomplishing nothing.
“Of course, I’ve heard of him. He used to lose to me hundreds of times,” Cassia said. She knew that even if she said that, Victoria still wouldn’t believe her.
And she didn’t care anymore. So what?
Victoria was just someone unimportant. Why should she care whether she believed her or not?
Sure enough, Cassia saw the look of disdain on Victoria’s face.
Just like before. No matter what she said, Victoria would never believe her.
