Chapter 502 Dating Two Men?
Victoria couldn’t stand hearing that.

“Cassia is Vance’s biological daughter–she’s a daughter of the Woods! How could she leave us? If she does, that’s betrayal! That’s turning her back on her ancestors! She’ll be punished by heaven!”
“That’s right, Aspen. Cassia is Danica’s and my sister. She can’t leave us. Danica would be so sad,” Brie added.
That 100 million still hadn’t been recovered. If that bitch really cut ties with the Woods, how would she get the money back?
*So we just stay stuck like this?” Aspen sighed. “Both sides are miserable. You all are unhappy, and Cassia isn’t happy either…”
“If that girl had been more generous and less petty, and just come home obediently, would things have turned out like this?” Victoria sighed heavily, blaming Cassia.
“Grandma, honestly, we can’t put all the blame on her. After all, we were the ones who didn’t treat her like family first.”
Aspen frowned. “The reason she hates us now… We share some responsibility, too.”
Victoria looked at him strangely. That didn’t sound like something he would say.
“That girl has always had a cold, strange personality! Remember the night your mom brought her back? She didn’t even greet anyone! She looked gloomy like some kind of ghost!” Victoria said irritably. “What did we do wrong? She gives us the cold shoulder, and we’re supposed to chase after her like fools?”
“Cassia went missing when she was young and was only found at 18. It’s understandable that she’s distant and withdrawn…”
“Hey, what’s gotten into you?” Victoria sat up straight and cut him off. “You’ve been acting more and more strangely lately. Why are you always speaking up for Cassia?”
Out of respect for his elders, Aspen didn’t argue directly.
“I… I’m not really taking sides. I just think that, aside from her personality, Cassia is actually a good person. She saved Danica, helped cure her depression, and even tutored her. And-”
Whether intentional or not, Aspen glanced at Brie, who was massaging his shoulders behind him, as he spoke.
“And as the eldest daughter of the Woods, she’s the one who should’ve received the family’s love and care.”
Brie caught his glance and understood exactly what he meant.
He was saying that she had taken the warmth and affection of the family that should have belonged to Cassia.
“Ow! That hurts!”
A sharp pain shot through Aspen’s left shoulder as he felt it being squeezed too hard. He instinctively raised his hand to rub it.
“Sorry, Aspen. I didn’t realize I used that much force.” Brie quickly realized she’d slipped and immediately switched to a soft, pitiful. act as she apologized to Aspen, though resentment churned beneath the surface.
It was all Cassia’s fault. If she had never come back, none of that would have happened, and Aspen wouldn’t think that way.

Aspen wasn’t focused on Brie. He waved it off casually and looked back at Victoria.
Victoria sneered the moment she heard him praise Cassia.
“She only did what a sister should do for Danica. Do you really think she’s good?”
“What do you mean?” Aspen frowned.

“Not only is her personality bad, but her character is terrible too! She’s dating two men at the same time! Right now, she’s probably out with that Mr. Grey. Do you still think she’s a good girl?”
“Dating two men? But I’ve never seen any guys around her. I’ve only heard from students at Zrario High that a lot of boys are chasing her, but she’s never accepted any of them.”
Aspen thought it was normal. Cassia was pretty. It’d be strange if she didn’t have guys chasing after her.
But dating? With her personality, that didn’t seem likely. Maybe Victoria misunderstood.
Aspen thought that was very possible. After all, Victoria had always been biased against Cassia. A misunderstanding wasn’t out of the question.
“Grandma, who are those two boyfriends you mentioned?”
“One is the second boss of the Lennox Hotel. I’ve noticed their relationship isn’t exactly ordinary. The other is a man named Mr. Grey. He’s all mysterious and has been getting very close to that girl lately.”
Hearing that, Aspen became even more convinced that she had misunderstood.
“That doesn’t mean Cassia is in a relationship with them. Maybe they’re just close friends?”
After hearing her grandson say that, Victoria felt like it made some sense.
“Maybe she’s not with that second boss, but she’s definitely with Mr. Grey!” Brie chimed in at just the right moment. “I ran into them at Citywalk Mall. Mr. Grey admitted that he’s Cassia’s boyfriend.”
