Draven sat there smoking, a thin cloud drifting across his face. His sharp, hawk–like eyes kept flicking toward his phone. He stared at the screen like it personally owed him answers.
What is he even looking at? Eric was completely lost, he walked over.
“Dude,” he asked, curious, “why are you so upset?
Draven pressed his lips together. His voice was cold. “There’s someone right here in Zrario. I’ve searched everywhere, but there’s still no trace of that person.”
Eric nodded. Now he understood.
It was that mysterious miracle doctor again.
Honestly, Eric rarely admired anyone. But at this moment, he really admired that miracle doctor.
Draven wasn’t an ordinary man. With his connections, finding someone should’ve been easy.
But this one person–this miracle doctor–had him completely stuck.
Eric thought for a moment. “I know some people in the black market. I can offer a huge reward and see if they take the bait.”
After all, most people won’t turn down serious money. It was human nature.
“Yeah, try everything,” Draven said. “Grandpa’s condition is getting worse. If any other doctor could’ve helped, the surgery would’ve been done already. But it has to be the miracle doctor.” His expression darkened. He looked truly troubled.
“Alright, I’ll ask around right away,” Eric said. When it came to Draven’s family matters, he would always treat them as top priority.
He stayed a few more minutes, then left. A moment later, Seven walked in.
“What’s the situation?” Draven asked without looking up. The question came out of nowhere, but Seven understood him perfectly.
“That young lady seems lazy on the surface,” Seven reported. “She sleeps through class, but her grades are amazing. She’s a straight–A student. Honestly, it’s kind of unbelievable. People like that are usually called geniuses.”

A faint smile tugged at Draven’s lips. Of course. le always had good instincts. No wonder he noticed her.
“Nothing strange happened lately, right?” he asked again, even though he already knew the
answer.
“No.” Seven answered. “But even if something did happen, she handled it easily. Nothing she couldn’t take care of.”
Draven nodded, finally looking a little less tense
The talent show was scheduled for the day before the actual winter party. That way, after the performances were done, everyone could enjoy a full day off at the real winter party.
That morning was the rehearsal, and the show wouldn’t start until the evening.
Since Cassia didn’t sign up for anything, she had the whole day to herself.
But with people walking around, talking, and practicing everywhere, she couldn’t sleep at all.
Sacha pulled her along to keep her company and help her rehearse her song. Cassia didn’t mind; she had nothing else to do.
And honestly, Sacha really could sing. Her voice was soft and clear, with a light, airy quality to it.
It made people feel calm, almost enchanted.
“Cassia, how do you think I did?” Sacha asked shyly.
“You’re great. If you keep working at it, you’ll go far,” Cassia said. She always spoke honestly.
Sacha’s eyes lit up, and she said confidently, “Yeah! I’m going to try my best. One day, I want to be just like my idol, Zach.”
Cassia frowned a little. “Your idol is Zach?”
Is that guy that popular?
“Of course! His voice is amazing. Too bad his last concert got canceled. I was heartbroken. But I heard he’s doing another one next month. really hope it works out this time.” Sacha kept up with every update about her idol.
Yes, the last concert had been canceled because of the weather. They tried to reschedule, but Zach’s calendar was too packed, so they pushed it to the end of the month.
