The Returned Heiress Who Never Fit In novel Chapter 921

**TITLE: She Took 921**

**Chapter 921: Are You F*cking Blind?**

Eddie, with an air of nonchalance, remained utterly unaffected by the tension radiating from Tempest.

“Look, you don’t need to glare at me like that,” he said, casually rubbing his forehead as if trying to erase the weight of the moment. “I might just be a doctor, but believe me, I have a sister who’s got a temper that could light up the darkest night.”

Stella pulled Abraham closer, her brow furrowing with confusion. Was he implying he was pulling his sister into this mess?

Rianne’s expression shifted as she caught wind of the mention of Eddie’s sister. A flicker of something unreadable crossed her face, a mixture of concern and curiosity.

Tempest’s voice turned icy, slicing through the air like a knife. “Heh. Are you threatening me?”

Eddie, unfazed, replied, “Not a threat! Oh, wait a minute. You have a sister too, don’t you? She’s the one who got my sister locked up.”

Tempest fell silent, his lips pressing into a thin line.

Hailey, sensing the rising tension, simply observed, her eyes darting between the two men.

The atmosphere grew heavy, thick with unspoken words.

Tempest’s glare could have ignited a fire. His eyes darkened, storm clouds gathering within them as he fixed his gaze on Eddie.

Rianne, noticing the veins bulging in Tempest’s clenched fists and the palpable danger radiating from him, felt a surge of urgency. “You should go,” she urged, her voice laced with concern.

Eddie’s provocations were reckless. She genuinely feared for his safety; Tempest’s temper was infamous for a reason.

But Eddie met Tempest’s fierce gaze without flinching. “No need to give me that look. My sister didn’t falsely accuse yours. Besides, it’s just kids being kids. There’s no reason for us brothers to get involved physically, right?”

Not that he was particularly intimidated by Tempest.

Tempest’s voice was low, a dangerous whisper. “Your sister did this?”

Eddie nodded, his expression earnest. “Yep!”

There was no point in denying the truth. Stella and Evie had indeed collaborated, and if one had to be named as the mastermind, it would be Evie. No, wait, it was Stella. She had a certain civility about her that Evie lacked…

“Actually, thinking it over, it probably wasn’t my sister. If my sister gets involved, it’s serious business.”

That was a fact. Given the extent of their actions, if Evie had gotten her hands on Ariana, the outcome would have been grim.

Eddie continued, “This was all Stella’s doing. That girl has a level head!”

Truth be told, with Evie’s explosive temper, Ariana had come perilously close to being seriously harmed. If it hadn’t been for Stella’s timely call threatening to involve the police, Ariana might not have made it out unscathed.

“So, you see, looking for Rianne is pointless. You need to find Stella. She’s the one pulling the strings.”

The clock read 11:50 AM on Sunday, December 7.

As Tempest’s expression darkened further, Eddie turned his attention back to Rianne. “The food here is pretty terrible. Want to grab a bite somewhere else?”

“Huh? Go?” Rianne was still grappling with everything that had just unfolded.

Eddie nodded, his demeanor casual. “It really is awful. Let’s get out of here.”
