The Returned Heiress Who Never Fit In novel Chapter 935

**TITLE: She Took 935**
**Chapter 935 You Said It**

“Enough of this bickering!” Gary’s voice cut through the tension like a knife.

“Why don’t you just keep quiet!” came the sharp retort, filled with frustration.

Holt was practically vibrating with rage, his fists clenched tightly. Despite Gary’s attempts to mediate, Holt’s anger only intensified, a storm brewing within him that seemed impossible to calm.

Meanwhile, in the car, Marie was blissfully unaware of the chaos unfolding. She was humming a lighthearted tune, her spirits buoyed by the prospect of a peaceful day. But then, her phone rang, the caller ID revealing it was the Tom family home. As she answered, the shrill sounds of a heated argument reached her ears, and her cheerful melody shifted into a more upbeat rhythm, almost as if it were mocking the discord on the other end.

Upon arriving back at the Dawson family residence, Marie found Stella and Abraham engrossed in a discussion about wedding venues and dresses. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, but Stella’s expression quickly soured upon seeing Marie.

“The dress is too small again!” Stella pouted, her lips forming a perfect pout that could rival any child’s.

Marie raised an eyebrow, feigning surprise. “Hmm? Too small again?”

Stella nodded, her eyes wide with dismay. “Yeah.”

Marie chuckled softly, trying to lighten the mood. “Well, of course! You’re growing a tiny human—or three! Your belly is going to change every single day.”

She could only imagine how quickly a dress that fit perfectly one day could become unwearable the next.

Stella’s face crumpled, a hint of despair creeping into her voice. “I don’t even want to have the wedding anymore. I think I’d rather wait until after I give birth.”

Abraham, ever the voice of reason, interjected, “What kind of silly talk is that?”

“I won’t look pretty!” Stella insisted, her tone a mixture of stubbornness and vulnerability.

Marie shook her head, a smile dancing on her lips. “Nonsense! You’ll be absolutely radiant. How about this: I’ll wear a maternity gown alongside you!”

Stella’s eyes narrowed as she scrutinized Marie’s still-flat stomach. “How would you do that?”

Marie grinned mischievously. “What if I stuff a watermelon in there?”

Stella burst into laughter, the tension lifting momentarily. “Pfft…”

Marie continued to tease, “Silly girl. Pregnant women are the epitome of beauty! You don’t need to fret about your figure. Have you ever seen anyone poke fun at a pregnant woman for being fat?”

Stella shook her head, her lips still twitching with amusement. “No.”

“Exactly! So just relax and let’s figure this out. We can have the dress let out a bit,” Marie reassured her, her voice warm and encouraging.

Marie had designed Stella’s wedding dress herself, keeping her pregnancy in mind; she had made it easily adjustable for moments just like this.

Still, Stella hesitated, but Marie was already moving in to assess where the dress felt tight.

“Alright, alright. Hurry up and call Tessa and Rianne. Are they coming or not?” Marie prompted, her tone shifting to one of urgency.

“They have to,” Stella replied, though her voice lacked conviction.

“Did you actually ask them?”

Stella’s face fell. “No…”

Marie raised an eyebrow, her patience wearing thin. “Your wedding is in three days, and you haven’t even told them?”

“Are you expecting them to teleport here?” Stella shot back, a hint of exasperation creeping into her voice.
