Chapter 974 Who’s Really Stupid
Before meeting Tessa, Victor had never thought he’d be interested in any woman, let alone a child.
But now, this feeling was truly incredible.
Finished
Seeing Victor remain silent, Tessa looked up. “Why aren’t you saying anything? Do you not like children?”
Victor: “What are you thinking? Of course I like the baby.”
He naturally liked the child.
It was just that so much was not yet ready, which made him feel a little panicked.
Panicked…
This emotion had never existed in Victor’s world before.
But now, he actually found himself questioning the path he had walked, worried that his past would affect the little girl before him, and the child she was carrying for him.
Tessa: “Then how come you don’t look happy at all? Did you want me to have a tumor?”
“What nonsense are you talking about?”
Victor scooped Tessa up and sat her on his lap.
His movements were now obviously much lighter than before, terrified of hurting her or the baby.
Tessa looked at him earnestly.
Victor rubbed the top of her head with his chin. “Don’t overthink it, hmm?”
“But do you really like it?”
“I really do.”
The man’s magnetic voice was steady and reassuring, carrying a sense of responsibility that inexplicably set her at ease.
Tessa smiled sweetly again.
“I believe you.”
His warm palm cupped the back of her head as he kissed her.
Tessa: “Mmph… no.”
Every time Victor did this, the situation would definitely get out of control. Tessa was afraid.
This little thing was truly resilient.
Victor was not a gentle person in bed, and they hadn’t known about the baby this whole time.

Yet the little one had held on through all that rough tossing about without any issue.
They didn’t know before, but now that they did, things were different.
Finished
The man held the back of her head with one hand and her waist with the other. Sensing her resistance, he released her.
His voice was noticeably husky. “Relax. I won’t touch you.”
Victor did, at least, have that much self–control.
Tessa giggled again. Victor asked, “What are you laughing at?”
“I’m laughing at how stupid you are. I’m pregnant, and you actually said I had a tumor! Hahaha.”
Victor: “…”
If he was being honest, he really had been stupid about it.
When he felt that thing in the middle of Tessa’s stomach, he was genuinely worried she had some serious illness.
She was right beside him, and he had failed to take good care of her. He panicked…
He never once considered the possibility of pregnancy.
Then again, anyone who didn’t know better, suddenly feeling a hard ball in her stomach, would definitely suspect an illness.
That’s why Victor hadn’t dared to delay, even making Percy check her before they got on the plane.
After seeing Stella, Tessa complained nonstop about Victor. “You have no idea. The second he said I had a tumor, I was scared to death.”
“How can someone be so stupid? He can’t even tell the difference when a woman is pregnant.”
Stella: “When you called and asked me the difference between a tumor and a child, I was dumbfounded
too.”
Victor had immediately assumed it was a tumor.
Tessa had come right out and said she couldn’t tell the difference. And Stella, completely clueless, had gone along with comparing the two.
Abraham and Victor were sitting in a tearoom not far away.
Hearing Tessa’s complaints to Stella, Abraham looked at Victor. “How did you end up thinking it was a
tumor?”
No wonder the little thing had asked him that strange question earlier. It turned out the problem had started with Victor.

In Abraham’s view, Victor shouldn’t be that foolish. How could he not distinguish between a child and a tumor?
Victor: “I wasn’t thinking much at the time. It just felt wrong, so I assumed it was a tumor.”
“Pffi…”
Even Abraham, usually as steady as a mountain, couldn’t help but laugh out loud,
They both glanced in Tessa and Stella’s direction.
In that moment, Victor hoped Tessa would always be this bright.
Abraham also noticed the change in Tessa this time and couldn’t help but ask, “I remember Tessa used to be very afraid of you.”
Victor: “…”
Thinking of that, the smile on his lips deepened. “Yes, she used to be afraid.”
When the little thing first came to him, she was like a mouse seeing a cat.
She was so scared, as if he were going to eat her.
Every time she saw him, her eyes would well up, looking earnest and pitiful.
Over here, Tessa was still roasting Victor.
She couldn’t stop. The main reason was that she had been scared to death the entire way back.
Who wouldn’t be worried about having a serious illness? It was terrifying.
Who wouldn’t want to be healthy?
Stella: “Alright, he’s not stupid. He just didn’t process it.”
Tessa: “…”
Not stupid?
He compared a baby to a tumor. How is that not stupid?
Stella: “If you want to talk about stupid, Eddie is the one who’s really stupid.”

Chapter 975 A Bizarre Diagnosis
When it came to Eddie, Stella had plenty to say.
Tessa asked, “Eddie? But he’s a doctor.”
“He’s a doctor and he messed that up, too?”
Finished
Stella nodded. “Yeah, doctors are even stupider. You have no idea. When I was violently ill, the signs of pregnancy were so obvious. Guess what he told me?”
“What did he say?”
“Eddie? But he’s a doctor. How could he get something like that wrong?”
Stella said, “He told me I had gastritis. He even suspected it was stomach cancer.”
Tessa: “Pfft- Hahahahaha!”
She really couldn’t hold back this time.
“Victor suspecting I had a tumor was already hilarious, but at least Victor isn’t a doctor.”
“But for Eddie, a doctor, to make that kind of diagnosis for a pregnant woman… that’s just absurd.”
Tessa said, “I can’t. That’s hilarious. How can there be a doctor like that? He’s a quack, right?”
“And he’s supposed to be a genius,” Stella huffed. “I have no idea how he got that title.”
Tessa agreed, “Exactly, how did he?”
“Eddie is famous in the medical world, and he makes a diagnosis like that for a simple pregnancy?”
“Are you sure this isn’t a joke?”
Tessa really couldn’t stop herself from laughing hysterically. Her genuine laughter filled all of Lucca Castle with a cheerful atmosphere.
Victor was still talking to Abraham, but his gaze never left her.
Stella said, “I don’t know. In short, it’s just absurd.”
“The diagnosis he gave me back then scared me half to death, too.”
“He got sent to the Mliba Desert after that…”
Tessa said, “Imagine his wife gets pregnant. What kind of bizarre diagnosis will he come up with then?”
“I thought Victor thinking I had a tumor was bizarre, but Eddie… he’s really something else.”
“A genius doctor. How bizarre.”
Stella said, “I’m also looking forward to seeing what his diagnosis will be.”

Chapter 975 A Bizarre Diagnosis
“Okay, let’s not talk about this. Have things been sorted out with you and the Morris family?”
Speaking of the Morris family, they had to talk about Dale.
Tessa said, “It doesn’t have much to do with me. My mom is handling everything right now.”
Tessa had complete confidence in her mother. She wasn’t worried in the slightest.
“I wonder if Dale’s test results are back, and if he’s really infertile.”
“If he is, then this whole thing is going to completely explode.”
