Conrad POV

The room stayed silent after the archive finished loading across the council screen. I stared at the elder’s name attached to the disappearance records while tension rolled through every wolf standing inside the strategy chamber.

Amorah stepped closer to the table beside me and folded her arms tightly.

“They erased her completely,” she said quietly.

I looked at the file again while anger settled heavily inside my chest. The biological mother connected to the twins had not disappeared accidentally.

Someone inside the council had buried her existence deliberately.

“One elder could not have done this alone,” I muttered.

Amorah nodded once.

“No,” she replied. “But somebody started it.”

I immediately ordered every intelligence wolf inside the territory to lock down old succession archives before additional records vanished. If the council realized we knew the truth already, they would start cleaning evidence fast.

Darius moved toward the door immediately.

“I’ll secure the northern archive channels,” he said.

“Do it now,” I ordered.

“I think they feared what she represented,” she answered.

I nodded once.

“We’ll recover them,” I replied.

“Neither have you,” I answered.

“The elder visited Grayford Territory three times before the biological mother disappeared,” she said.

I looked up immediately.

She nodded.

Amorah sighed softly.

“Zane.”

“What?” he complained. “You guys hide everything.”

I exchanged a look with Amorah before taking the tablet from him. An old public event recording appeared across the screen seconds later.

Then my entire body went still.

Amorah inhaled sharply beside me.

“That’s her,” she whispered.
