The Second Chance Of The Rejected Moon
Chapter 136
Morgana steps forward.
“Please let me take you to Avalon. The priestesses and I can help you recover your memories, but not here I can’t remains in this world for very long. Simply coming to this house means breaking part of the oath I made many years ago
Vladimir lets out a bitter laugh.
“Sure… go take care of a dead man who’s never going to wake up.”
Without waiting for a response, he walks out of the room, the bottle still dangling from his fingers. The slam of the doo echoes throughout the house, leaving behind an even more uncomfortable silence than the one that came before.
“I know my son’s magic, and I can wake your mate from that sleep… as long as you cooperate with us, Celine.” Larissa comes to stand beside Morgana, wearing that same unwavering expression of hers.
I look toward my three mates, but before I can say a single word, I feel a warm trickle running down my legs.
Instinctively. I lower my eyes.
They do the same.
Christian is the first to understand what’s just happened. His eyes widen, and without a second thought, he drops to his knees in front of me to make sure he isn’t mistaken. Ciro lets out a nervous laugh, unable to decide whether to panic or celebrate, while Darien is already at my side, supporting me by the waist before I even have the chance to try to stand. All three surround me at once, each reacting in his own way, yet wearing the exact same mixture of anxiety, joy, and concern.
“Your timing couldn’t be worse, little one…” I murmur as I carefully sit back down on the sofa, one hand resting on my belly. “It looks like you decided today was the perfect day to be born.”
For a moment, the room falls completely silent. Everyone stares at me without reacting, as though none of them has fully processed what I just said, until another contraction forces me to shut my eyes and grip the armrest of the sofa.
That’s all it takes.
The confusion disappears, and the entire house springs into action.
Karin jumps to her feet and immediately starts giving orders with the confidence of someone who’s been through this more than once. Savannah disappears down the hallway in search of blankets, towels, and everything else needed for the delivery. while Christian and Ciro move the coffee table aside to clear the space. Darien stays beside me, never letting go of my hand for even a second, and Tanner rushes outside to summon the pack’s healers, calling out before he even reaches the front door.
Zharzel watches the chaos with an amused smile, leaning against one of the walls.
“Well… no one was expecting this ending to the meeting.”
“Don’t even think about getting in the way.” Vladimir growls as he sets the bottle of brandy on a cabinet and walks over to help.
“Me? I’m a perfect spectator.”
You’re a demon.”
Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive.”
No one pays them any attention.

Morgana and Larissa immediately come to my side. Morgana places one hand on my shoulder while Larissa rests hers against my belly They close their eyes for a few seconds, allowing magic to flow through their fingers, then exchange a knowing glance before smiling.
“It seems someone has decided it’s finally time to meet the world.”
“How much longer?” Darien asks, trying, and failing, to hide the concern in his voice.
Larissa slowly lifts her hand from my belly and smiles warmly.
“Not long. This little one has already made up his mind, and there’s no magic capable of changing it. You’d better preparea room, because I don’t think he’s willing to wait much longer.”
I agree, because there’s no way I’m giving birth on this sofa.”
With Karin’s and Savannah’s help, I carefully get to my feet. Another contraction forces me to stop for a few seconds before taking my first step.
“I’ll go with the witch after you have the baby. Is there anything I can do?” Celine asks as she approaches slowly, as though afraid of interrupting or getting in the way. “I don’t want to be a burden if that’s the case.”
“What we need right now is for you to go with Morgana to Avalon and recover your memories, all right? I’ll be fine with Karin and Savannah. There’s no need to have every witch in the world gathered in my room.”
I smile and hold out my hand.
Celine takes it firmly.
“You’re going to be all right. They’re good people, and they’ll do everything they can to help you. And if you see my brother- in-law Killian, tell him his nephew is about to be born.”
Celine’s eyes grow moist for just a moment.
“I will. Thank you for everything. Valeria. I wish you a safe delivery, and may the Moon Goddess bless your son.”
Thank you. That means a great deal to me.”
Celine nods and turns her gaze toward the table.
“I’ll be back soon. And… if you don’t mind, I’d like to take the swords with me.”
I don’t even have to think about it.
“I don’t mind at all. They’re yours. They always were. I was only taking care of Helel until you came for them.”
“Good luck.”
She bends down and lifts both swords at the same time without the slightest effort. Watching her hold them together is just as astonishing as it was the first time. There’s determination in every one of her movements, a strength she still doesn’t seem to recognize within herself.
She may still doubt herself.
