Chapter 10: Chapter 10

BELLA POV

"Bella, what the hell are you doing?" Ethan yelled from the other side of the bars as I pulled a syringe out of my pocket.

"What needs to be done." I replied coldly while staring at Mason. He looked weak. He hadn’t eaten in a while. Sleep deprived. But I know that he was still stronger than me. A couple days in this place doesn’t mean that I can take him on. That was never going to happen.

But then I started stalking towards Mason and he stood up looking all big and tough against me and he really was. He was huge compared to my tiny stature. But I didn’t care. I really didn’t. I just saw what he did to my best friend. Something that no one ever deserves.

He started walking towards me and I could hear the panick in Ethan’s voice and Tyler was screaming for the guards to get the other key. But Mason lunged at me and I knew that this was going to be my only chance.

When He knocked me to the ground and was on top of me I jabbed the saringe into his stomach and injected the clear liquid.

He immediately looked down and rolled off of me so I scrambled to my feet.

"Wolfsbane is a real bitch isn’t it?" I asked and I saw Tyler lying on the ground and he started writhing in pain and not being able to get up or move from where he was.

The others in the hallway got quiet after that and I reached down into my boot and pulled out a leather pouch. I unwrapped it to reveal and silver knife with a black leather handle. The handle was so I didn’t burn myself. But the rest was silver. And as soon as Mason saw it he tried to wriggle away from me, but he couldn’t.

"What’s the matter Mason. Not so tough now, are you? You actually look scared of me. A tiny pathetic little girl who you always thought of as expendable." I say as I stalk closer to him.

" Well, I’m not so weak and pathetic now, am I?" I asked as i sliced his arm with a shallow cut and he screamed in pain from the burning of the silver.

A guard ran back into the hall with another key to get into the cell but Tyler stopped him from unlocking the door.

"Let’s just watch the show for bit. Bella seems to know what she’s doing." Tyler says.

"We all have to learn this shit at some point." Wyatt says casually leaning on the wall behind us.

"I don’t want this to destroy Bella." Ethan says.

"She’s stronger than you think. You’ve been gone for years. Tessa was her protector and this son of a bitch just tried to kill Tessa. Bella needs to do this." Tobias says. And I made another shallow cut on his other arm with the silver blade.

"Please. Stop." Mason screamed.

"Did Tessa beg you to stop? Did she beg you to stop raping her when she was 8 years old? Or 10 years old? Or 15 years old? Or two nights ago? Did she beg you to stop torturing her for the last 10 years? My guess is that she did. And you didn’t listen to her." I say calmly while slicing him again on the chest.

Mason tried to say something else so I stabbed the knife into his leg. " Shut the fuck up. You don’t get to talk anymore. You don’t get to call the shots anymore. You’re nothing. You’re locked in a cell and I’m pretty sure that when Tyler has finished with you, you’ll be praying for death. I’m sure he has much more in store for you." I yelled.

"Actually, this is looking pretty good here. I like this form of torture. Can you do the other two when you’re finished in there?" Tyler asked.

"With pleasure." I smiled at him.

I wasn’t possessed. I wasn’t out of my mind. I knew exactly what I was doing. And I knew exactly when to stop. Tyler was bleeding and not healing from every limb on his body and torso and face. But they weren’t enough to kill him. Just enough to keep him in torturous pain for a long time.

They decided against me having a go at the other two for the time being. We headed back to the hospital and I walked into Tessa’s room and that girl Rachel was in there alone looking at Tessa’s IV bag.

"What the hell are you doing in here?" Tyler asked pushing past me.

"I was just checking on her." Rachel says jumping back.

"What were you doing with her IV?" Tyler demanded.

"Tyler." A weak voice. And we all snapped our heads to the side to see Tessa with her eyes barely open.

Tyler rushed to her side and cupped her face and kissed her forehead.

"You’re finally awake. I can’t believe you’re finally awake." Tyler said to her.

"Rachel." She croaked out.

"Rachel. She’s right here." Tyler says.

"No. Rachel let them in." Tessa mumbled out. And Tyler jumped up and turned around but Rachel was gone.

Ethan, Wyatt and Tobias all went after her and Tyler mind linked the whole pack to look out for her. Keep an eye out for her and don’t let her leave the territory.

Tyler and I stayed by Tessa’s side and Tyler kept getting mind links from his pack members.

"She was just spotted near her house and she took off into the woods. They’re still searching." Tyler told me.

Tessa was still in and out of consciousness and couldn’t say a whole lot. Dr. Missy came in to check on her and said that everything was fine. That she was going to be fine. She’s just a little groggy from everything right now. But she will make a full recovery.

I looked at Tyler’s face when he heard that news and it was nothing but relief when he heard that.

"You really love her, don’t you?" I asked.

"She’s my mate. She’s my everything." He answered.
