Chapter 11: Chapter 11

TESSA POV

Dr. Missy made me stay in hospital for three days to make sure that I was completely healed and the wolfsbane was out of my system and Tyler stayed there with me the whole time. Except for when he needed to go home and shower. Otherwise, he was leaving the pack up to Cade and Carter.

But when I was finally told that I could leave, I was glad to finally be going home. Tyler picked up my bag from the bed and he held his hand out for me, so I took his hand and he guided me out of the hospital.

The entire staff at the hospital said goodbye to me as I was passing them even though I hadn’t met most of them but Tyler assured me that it was because I was the Luna. And I could only think that it was because they knew what had happened to me.

We got in Tyler’s car that was parked at the entrance and he drove us back to the packhouse. He raced around the car and opened the door for me and I got out of the car and looked up at the house.

I stood there staring at it for a minute before my heart started pounding really loudly and I could hear voices echoing in my head. Voices from that night when I was attacked. I was attacked in this house.

Tyler grabbed my hand quickly which helped calm me down and he looked really concerned. I felt terrified going inside.

"It’s alright. I promise that it’s alright." He said.

"But they’re in there. Aren’t they?" I asked.

"They’re under the house. And they are never going to get you. They can’t get out of the dungeon. I promise you that." He assured me.

We took little steps going into the house and when we opened the door I saw that no one was around.

"You told everyone to leave." I say.

"I didn’t want you to be overwhelmed when you got home. But they do want to see you. They just have to wait." He says.

He leads me up to the third floor and we were approaching my bedroom and I started pulling back away from him. I couldn’t go in there. No way could I go in there.

"Wait Tessa. Come and have a look. I was never going to put you back in that room." Tyler says. So I take a couple of steps closer and I see that the room is completely boarded up. There was no way anyone was getting inside that room now. " I want you to stay in my room now. That’s no pressure, obviously. But I want to keep you close." He says. So he took me to his room and he put my bag on the chair in the corner.

"The bathroom is in here and here is the wardrobe." He says opening the door and all of my stuff has already been moved into it.

"It’s all taken care of." I whispered.

"I wanted to make this as comfortable as possible. And if you want to change anything in this room then you can. It’s our room now. Not just mine." He says.

"Well, it is pretty dark." I teased.

"We can fix that. Some lighter colors wouldn’t hurt." He says.

"Can I have a bath? I...need one." I say.

"Of course you can. You don’t need to ask." He says going into the bathroom and I heard the water start running and then he came back out again.

"Alright. The bath has started for you and I left a towel in there for you. All of your clothes are in there. I’ll be downstairs until you’re finished and you get dressed. If you need anything then I have my phone on me if you don’t want to come downstairs." He says and I nod my head. So he kissed me on the forehead and he left the room.

I went into the bathroom and I got undressed and put my clothes in the hamper and then I got in the bath. I started scrubbing with soap but that didn’t seem to do anything. So I grabbed a scrub brush and I started scrubbing every inch of my skin but it wasn’t working. No matter how hard I scrubbed I couldn’t get clean.

I didn’t stop until I realized that there was blood coming from my arms and legs and I knew that everyone would freak about it. So I quickly washed myself and I got out and dried myself. I got dressed into a long sleeve black shirt and a pair of tracksuit pants.

I looked over towards the window and Tyler had set up my drawing equipment next to the window. My sketchbook was there and pencils and everything had also been restocked.

I grabbed the covers of his bed and I climbed in and pulled the covers back over me but I had left the bathroom light on. This room was pretty dark and I needed a bit of light in there.

The door opened slowly and I jumped up holding the blankets against me and Tyler put his hands up to let me know that it was him and no one else. So I could relax a little bit.

"I’m sorry. Is this your side of the bed. I don’t know. This is the way we slept in my room so I just assumed." I said.

"It’s perfect. That’s you’re side. Looking out facing the bathroom with your back to the window." He says. He climbed on to the bed next to me but he stayed above the covers and he didn’t get too close.

"Feel relaxed since the bath?" He asked.

"I guess." I answered slowly lying down again.

"You don’t want to come down for dinner?" He asked.

"I’m not hungry. But thank you." I said.

"That’s alright. Everyone was just asking about you. They want to see you." He said.

"Not yet." I say shaking my head no.

" It’s alright. You don’t have to see anyone until you’re ready. Did you want me to get some food bought up here?" He asked.

"No. I’m really not hungry." I say.

"You didn’t eat too much in the hospital either." He says. But I didn’t say anything. " Never mind. It’s alright. Let’s watch a movie." He says grabbing the remote and he turned the TV on and he started flicking through the apps until he found a good movie to watch. Nothing violent. Comedy.

I couldn’t laugh at it or anything like that. But I did watch it with him. All I kept thinking was that I wish I could swap places with them. I would love to swap places with them. And not be here where everyone is just going to give me those pity looks. Those looks that I absolutely hated. I didn’t want to face anyone. I just wanted to run away from all of this.

BELLA POV

When dinner was over I saw Cade and my brother walk outside together talking.

"What’s that about?" I asked Aria.

"Who the hell knows with the guys around here? Their all in this secret mens club that no women are allowed to know about. Especially Alpha’s and Beta’s." Aria scoffed. And Carter cleared his throat. " Oh sorry, and gamma’s." Aria said correcting herself.

"Well, do you know what that’s about?" Bella asked.

"Nope. That one’s a mystery even to me." Carter says.

"Don’t worry baby. I’ll make you feel special later." Aria winked at him.
