Chapter 31: Chapter 31

"You’re trapped me in here?" I asked stunned while he looked proud of himself.

"I knew that it was the only way to keep you here. At least until you decide to stay on your own." He answers.

"Tyler. Step back through the barrier. Make sure that you can come back in." I say not taking my eyes off Angelo. So Tyler reached through the barrier and grabbed my hand and he stepped back through.

"I was never going to keep you from your mate." Angelo says upset.

"Well, how the hell do I know what you are capable of anymore?" I asked.

"That hurts. You know that I just want to keep you with me." Angelo says.

"Go to hell. You can’t keep me here forever." I say.

"I know you’re upset now. I’ve had some people already move your things into another room since you destroyed the bathroom in that other room. I’ll talk to you two when you’ve calmed down." Angelo says starting to walk away.

"Don’t plan on that being any time soon." I growl.

We went up to our new room and closed the door and I pulled out my phone and I called Ethan straight away. I explained the whole situation to him and he was pissed. And Tyler got the same idea from me and started making calls.

"We need reinforcements. I know that you probably need to stay there to take care of the pack. But what about Tobias?" I asked.

"Tobias will be there tomorrow. So will I. I’ll sort everything out tonight and decide on who I’m bringing. Are we all going to stay in the same house?" He asked.

"Yeah. But I have no idea how many bedrooms this place have. People might have to doubt up." I say.

"Alright. I’m not sharing with Wyatt. That bisexual creeps me out when we sleep in the same bed." Ethan says.

"Wait. Why the hell have you two ever needed to sleep in the same bed?" I asked.

"We sometimes fall asleep watching movies." He says.

"Okay. That’s all I need to know. Thank you Ethan. I appreciate it." I say.

"Anything for you. We’re not letting a vampire take you away from us. He doesn’t have the right to. We’re you’re family." He says.

"Yeah. I think that’s the part that he doesn’t like." I says.

"Well, he’s gonna have to get used to it. Isn’t he? Have you got a lot more coming?" He asked.

"Hell yeah." I say.

"Well, we’ll see you tomorrow." He says. And I hung up the phone. I knew that we had that pack on our side at least.

Tyler was on the phone longer than I was because he was organizing his own pack and when he got off the phone he sat on the chair next to me on the balcony.

"They’ll be here tomorrow." Tyler says.

"So will Ethan and whatever people he’s bringing. I’m not even sure. I think as long as we have as many wolves here as possible then it will be an advantage to us." I say.

"Definitely. And I’ve seen the New Orleans pack. They are pups compared to us. They look like German Shepards." He says.

"Are you serious?" I asked.

"Yeah. Their tiny. They can’t compete against us. They wouldn’t even try. And there’s only about 200 of them." He says.

"That’s just chump bait for us." I laughed.

"Exactly." He says.

"Angelo says that he hates Daniel for what he did to me. Yet he’s acting just like him. He’s locking me away from everyone and everything. I don’t think he’s any better than Daniel." I say.

Tyler put his arm around me and started rubbing my arm.

’You’ve got all this new power now. You might be able to break the bind yourself.’ Tyler mind linked in case there was any vampire hanging around listening to us.

’I thought of that too. But it might take a while before I can do it.’ I admit.

’It doesn’t matter how long it takes. I’ll be patient. And I’m definitely not leaving you here alone now.’ He scoffs.

The next morning we were woken up by Angelo knocking on the door saying that breakfast was ready. It must have been around dawn and I picked up the vase next to the bed and threw it at the door where it smashed. The I rolled over and into Tyler’s arms and put my head on his chest.

"That’s my girl." He whispered and kissed me on the top of my head. And I heard Angelo walking off down the hallway and I went back to sleep.

When Tyler and I did finally emerge from the bedroom it was 9am and we knew that Angelo would definitely be in bed. So we went to the dining room and the cook was in the kitchen.

"I thought it would be best if I waited until you woke up to start cooking. I know that there’as been a lot going on around here lately." Elsie says.

"Thank you. We appreciate it." I say.

"Can we trust her cooking?" Tyler whispered to me.

"Yeah. She won’t try to poison us." I say.

"How do you know that?" He asked.

"I don’t know. It’s just a feeling that I get." I say.

"Well, I know better than to fight you’re feelings." He says and I smile at him.

After breakfast Gladys arrived and I went to the courtyard.

"Did you put that bind on me so that I couldn’t leave the mansion?" I asked.

"No. That wasn’t me." She says.

"But you know who did." I say.

"He asked me to do it. But I said no because then you wouldn’t work with me. So he found someone else to do it." She says.

"You could have warned me." I declared.

"I couldn’t go against Angelo. He would have killed me on the spot." She says. And I looked at Tyler.

"I believe that he probably would have." Tyler says.

"Yeah. Me too." I say.

"That was nothing. Actually, Tyler is trying to learn how to use the bow and arrow and throwing knives. Tobias, would you be able to give him a hand with that?" I asked.

"Absolutely. I’ll have him shooting that thing like you." Tobias says.

"Thank you. He’s the same as I was when I started." I say.

"That’s alright. I think it’s good if wolves have training with weapons." He says.

When Tyler and the guys got back we started setting everything up in the courtyard area and pulled a table out for the snacks and everything that we had.

We even put up decorations around the courtyard that we were really having fun with.

Just as the sun was setting we had the surround sound set up and we cranked it full blast so that the whole mansion practically shook and we started with the party. Especially getting into the huge amount of alcohol that the guys had bought.

Pretty soon Angelo came running out and he turned the music off and got all of our attention.

"Oh. Hi dad." I say.

"What the fuck is all this?" He yelled.

"Oh. These are my family. You’re keeping me from going home to them, so I bought them here. I hope you don’t mind that they’ve moved in as well. I just assumed that this was my house now too." I say. And Tyler turned the music back up and we kept on partying while he stood there stunned. And Bella started laughing her ass off.

"He has no idea who he’s messing with, does he?" She asked.

"Nope. He thought I was dead until I came here. So he doesn’t know me at all." I smiled. And she started laughing again.

"Is he going to like having werewolves here?" She asked.

"Hell no. His vampire friends don’t even like having me and Tyler here." I say and she started laughing again.

"Well, this is going to get interesting." She says. And she wasn’t wrong there.

When Angelo’s friends came upstairs they were pissed that the mansion had been taken over my werewolves and Mitchell in particular started getting really snippy at Angelo. But then he started a fight with Wyatt. Wyatt fought back of course and Ethan and Tobias were right beside him. Because they were from the same pack.

Mitchell went a little too far with his insults of werewolves and the three of them lost control and Wyatt shifted first and then Tobias and then Ethan who was bigger than them two, but Mitchell backed right the hell up and so did everyone else. And Angelo’s face changed as well.

"You see, the wolves up North are bred differently. Or they’re not cursed or whatever the hell you want to call it. Every werewolf here is the same size as Wyatt, except for Tyler who is the same size as Ethan. Because they are both Alpha’s. If you want to see all of them as wolves, I’m sure that they will be happy to oblige." I explain to the vampires.

"No. I don’t think that will be a problem. But we’re not staying here Angelo. Not with them here." Mitchell says heading for the entrance to the mansion. And all the vampires followed him. Angelo looked at me and I just looked away and got another drink and turned the music back up.

I wasn’t going to stop the vampires from leaving and Angelo walked over and grabbed me by the arm and Ethan approached growling at him.

"I would let go if I were you. He’ll rip your head off." I say. So Angelo let go of my arm.

"Why are you doing this?" He asked.

"Because you pissed me off." I say.

"That’s no reason to run all of my friends out of here." He says.

"Oh Angelo. I’ve only just begun. You picked the wrong person to piss off." I say walking away.

"I will not let you get away with this." He yelled after me. But my friends just snickered at that.
