TYLER POV
"You son of a bitch." I say and Angelo stops dead in his tracks. His eyes going wide when he realized that he had just been found out.
"It’s not what you think." Angelo says.
"Tessa will never stay here. Is that why you made that witch force that power on to her? So she had no right but to stay here and buy you more time?" I asked.
"No. She needed to tap into her witchy powers. It would have taken too long if she did it on her own and she really does need to face that shadow witch." Angelo explains.
"Why do those bastards want Tessa? Why do they need her? And what curse are they talking about?" I demanded answers.
"You saw how small they are. They’re tiny wolves. Their pathetic compared to wolves up north. I’m guessing you would probably put them to shame." Angelo says. " There is a prophacy that a hybrid can break the curse. That’s the most that I know about the curse. I’ve seen it, but I can’t make any sense out of it. All I know is that it describes Tessa." Angelo explained.
"And what are they doing for you? Who are you looking for?" I asked.
"Their looking for my siblings. There’s a lot of family history there but I need to know where they are because there is a chance that they want to kill me." Angelo explains.
"I don’t blame them. You are a backstabbing prick. You’re using you’re own daughter right now." I growled at him.
"I love Tessa. I don’t care what anyone says. I do love her. Ever since the first day I met her. If I thought she was alive then I would have gone to get her years ago. I promise you that." He insisted.
"Well, what would have been better? Growing up with a vampire who kills people without mercy or growing up with Daniel who let three warriors gang rape her from the time she was 8?" I asked. Angelo’s eyes went wide and his breathing went all raggered. " You see, this is the part I am having trouble with. I really don’t know which one is worse." I say. And Angelo punched a hole in the brick wall that we were standing next to.
"Daniel let them do that to her?" Angelo asked.
"Yeah. But don’t worry. Tessa took care of them. After she was already my mate and they tried to kill her." I insisted.
"How?" Angelo asked.
"She shot the three rapists in the head while they were in their cell’s in my dungeon. And she fought and killed her father. Tore the fuckers head off." I say. " She’s stronger than you think. She was sick and stayed back from an event that I needed to go to. But a traitor who has also been taken care of, let them in the packhouse. They raped her again and stabbed her. Tried to kill her in my pack house. But they didn’t get away. And she came back to me from that. I don’t know how. But she managed to come back from that. She really is a lot stronger than you think. So I suggest you don’t fuck with her. And you don’t try to force her here against her will. Because she’ll hate you forever. And she will want nothing to do with you." I explain turned my back on him and walking away.
When I got back to the mansion Tessa had noticed that I was gone and she asked where I went. And then Angelo walked in behind me.
"I just needed to show him something in the city. It was nothing special. It was a precaution in case we get attacked." Angelo says.
"Okay. I wish you told me. I would have gone too." She say.
"It’s alright. I’ll show you some other time." I say. And her phone started ringing again and she looked at the screen but ignored it again. This time I grabbed the phone and I looked at it.
There were 6 missed called from her brother Ben. 2 from her brother Cooper and 3 from Kai.
"Why are you ignoring them?" I asked.
"Because I have nothing to say to them. They aren’t my brothers. Daniel wasn’t my father, so we’re not related." She says.
"But they still love you like a sister." I say.
"Where was that love when I needed it? They abandoned me when I needed them. If they stuck around then things would be different. I wouldn’t hate them as much as I do right now." Tessa insisted. But I cup the side of her face.
"They just want to get to know you again." I say.
"How do you know that?" She asked socking her head to the side. And my breath hitched slightly when I realized that I shouldn’t have said that. " What the fuck do you know Tyler?" She asked.
"Ben may have called me a couple of times to check on you." I say and she pushed my hands away from her.
"And you didn’t think to tell me. My life is none of their business. You had no right." She yelled at me.
"Like I said, they just want to get to know you." He say trying to calm her down.
"They had their chance and they screwed that up. They’re not getting another one. And I don’t want you talking to them either." She yelled. She wasn’t calming down any time soon. I think I really screwed up. But I am an Alpha. No one tells me what to do.
"You can’t tell me who to talk to." He says.
"No? I can decide on whether you have a mate or not. Think about that." She say storming off.
Well, damn. That’s not what I expected her to say. I guess she’s more serious about this issue than I thought.
"This isn’t good." Gladys says.
"What?" I asked.
"She’s angry. She’s really angry. That’s the worst time for her to try and control her powers." Gladys says. And we all looked up towards the bedroom.
"Good. So it’s your fault." I say. And he furrowed his brow at me.
