TESSA POV
I was pinned in the corner of the room and the wall by the string of electricity that had turned from white to red with her anger and I screamed so loud that I didn’t know it was possible. The pain that I was feeling was indescribable.
I managed to take one deep breath and I raised my hand towards the witch and I created a fireball that I turned to glass and shot it at her face at full speed.
She let go of me while she was trying to get the glass out of her face and I fell to the ground. I slowly managed to get to my feet and Tyler was regaining consciousness.
"Go help the wolves." I tell him. But I could tell that he was more concerned with me. But he knew that I needed to finish this so he ran to the wolves. He didn’t know what the hell to do.
I knew that he was still looking for signs of me turning evil. Of me getting addicted to the power. But as I was staggering on my feet I was able to regain my footing while the witch was pulling pieces of glass out of her face.
"That was very smart. Glass instead of ice." She says.
"I figured glass would hurt more. I guess it didn’t really matter. They both would have done the job." I say.
She then shot another bolt of red electricity at me but I raised my hand and put up a shield around me that the electricity couldn’t penetrate. But the fireball balls I was throwing from my side could penetrate it and she was using her other hand to try and fend them off.
She was throwing them off to the sides but I was making sure that they went out before they caught the house on fire. Tyler and two frozen wolves were in here. I didn’t want them burning to death because of me.
I could tell that the witch was getting exhausted and when she realized that the electricity bolt wasn’t going to penetrate the shield she lowered it. So I lowered the shield.
"Well, you think you’ve won." She says.
"I didn’t say that. You’re still alive so I know that I haven’t won." I say. " Tyler, get them out of here." I demand. So he literally has to lift the wolves and carry them out of the house. One at a time. And he comes back in. He isn’t leaving me alone.
The witch raised her hand to get an invisible grip on my throat but I throw out a green lasso from my hand that wraps around her arms and torso so she can’t raise her hands and she can’t move.
"You think this will hold me?" She asked.
"I know that it won’t hold you. I just need a minute." I say leaning back against the wall. I needed a minute to rest and Tyler rushed to my side.
’Are you alright?’ Tyler mind linked me.
’I’ll be fine. That took a lot out of me.’ I say.
’I know. You can’t keep this up. She’s too powerful.’ Tyler mind linked me.
’I’m not leaving until she’s dead. We can’t let her leave.’ I link back.
’We have to find a different way.’ He says.
’I am the only way. If she leaves here tonight then we won’t find her again until she decides to come looking for revenge. And our entire pack will be in danger.’ I argue with him. And he couldn’t argue back. Because he knew that I was right.
So he helps to hold me up and I saw the green lasso turn to glass and she broke out of it and it shattered everywhere.
I then pushed Tyler away from me with more strength that he knew I had, which made him realize that I wasn’t as weak as I was just letting on and the witch looked beyond pissed but satisfied because she thought she had me.
She raised her hands and started chanting when the ground started shaking and fire started spraying up from under her. Hell fire was spraying up around her, she could destroy the world with what she was doing right now.
And I raised my hands and chanted something completely different and just as she was about to direct the hell fire at me the heavens opened up and a bright light shone down on me and when I opened my eyes they were completely white and I directed that at the witch.
My white light was pushing back her hellfire and as easy as it was for me to stand there using the heavens light and the moon goddess’ powers she was having a lot of trouble holding the hellfire. It was a lot more unpredictable and I moved one step closer which pushed the hellfire back slightly.
I then used all the power I had in my hands and I thrust the heavens rays forward and it destroyed the hellfire and the witch fell to the ground. Badly burnt, no power left in her at all that I could feel. She used it all to conjure the hellfire but that wasn’t enough for me. I knew that she could still regain her powers. All witches could once they rested up.
I walked over to her, my eyes still shining white with the heavens rays surrounding me and I knelt down next to her.
