Chapter 141
“Don’t treat Grandpa like a get-out-of-jail-free card. I’m not some blindly obedient saint, got it?”
“Oh.” Vivian’s eyes shone brightly. She glanced at him before lowering her gaze to their intertwined hands, muttering softly, “But you always look so unapproachable. If I want to make you mine, I have to get creative.”
*I want to make you mine.*
Silas’s already dark gaze deepened even further.
He said nothing.
“But, I’m not as wild as you think, okay?” Vivian tilted her head up to look at him, her eyes serious. “Grandpa is an elder, after all, and of the opposite sex. There are some things that just aren’t appropriate to say. I’m not about to whisper, ‘I want to sleep with your grandson’ in his ear every single day.”
Silas scoffed softly. “At least you have some sense of shame.”
“Of course.”
The woman pouted, the tip of her tongue sweeping over her red lips. She suddenly leaned in closer, her voice dropping into a sultry murmur. “So, can I sleep with you tonight?”
Silas looked down at the face in front of him. She had taken off her makeup, revealing clean, stunningly defined features. Her natural, striking beauty gave her an innate, captivating filter.
Gorgeous and breathtaking.
Inherently seductive.
With a look that could seamlessly shift between innocent and wildly provocative, she could draw the attention of countless men and women just by standing there, as if she had the power to bring the world to its knees.
“Vivian,” Silas said, neither flinching nor looking away, his eyes reflecting her enticing gaze. “You were with your ex-boyfriend for three years, and you truly never slept with him?”
When he had first heard of her, he only knew that she managed a company and ran it impressively well.
That kind of profile usually belonged to a sharp, no-nonsense businesswoman.
Yet, not only was she incredibly beautiful, but she was also incredibly adept at flirting.
Perhaps “adept” wasn’t the right word. Flirting wasn’t something she did for fun; it was a calculated method to handle men.

She knew exactly how to make a man’s mind wander and spark his intense interest.
She was like a riddle, tempting people to peel back her layers one by one.
Vivian’s eyes flickered faintly, and she pursed her lips.
“What do you mean by that?”
The man pressed his lips together, remaining silent.
She wasn’t exactly angry, but there was definitely a trace of genuine emotion in her voice!
“You think I’m lying to you? But no means no. He never loved me to begin with. The only reason he’s looking my way now is because he sees me with you, and his fragile ego can’t handle it.”
It was the inherent flaw of men.
They could discard something, but they couldn’t stand seeing someone else claim it.
