The Stand-In Who Burned the Script novel Chapter 312

Chapter 312

The corners of Silas’s eyes flushed with a dangerous red hue. At first glance, his ruthless aura was almost palpable as he growled, “Get to bed!”

“With you.”

Vivian curled her lips into a smirk and recklessly lunged upward against him.

The man instinctively raised his arms to catch her.

That reaction played right into her hands. Vivian’s breathing hitched, her gaze drawn uncontrollably to his lips before she slowly lowered her head and captured them again.

“Silas…”

She murmured his name, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck.

“What exactly are you so afraid of? Are you worried I’m scheming, or… are you terrified you might fall for me?”

Her breathless voice, laced with thick desire and a husky edge, was completely intoxicating.

Silas’s eyes darkened further, as if he might swallow her whole at any second.

“Kiss me,” she urged.

Two seconds passed.

The man’s pitch-black pupils plunged into utter darkness. Seizing control, he crashed his lips against hers with overwhelming, consuming force.

Vivian’s nightgown had ridden up during their scuffle. Silas’s large hand gripped her thigh, the slight roughness of his fingertips gliding against her flawless skin.

Wherever he touched, a fiery heat trailed behind.

In two strides, he carried her to the edge of the bed and dropped her.

Vivian bounced against the soft mattress before settling back down.

Her gaze acted like a hook, perfectly snagging the most vulnerable part of the man’s defenses.

Silas pressed his tongue against his teeth, kneeling on the bed with one leg. His unfastened robe revealed sculpted muscles, exuding pure, unadulterated testosterone.

He reached out and ripped Vivian’s nightgown open.

She wasn’t wearing anything underneath.

The woman’s stunning, luminous curves were instantly exposed, setting his eyes ablaze with

raw hunger.

Vivian flinched slightly. Being completely bare suddenly made her feel deeply vulnerable, but she pushed the feeling aside in a heartbeat. Staring straight at him, she offered a smile brimming with seductive charm.

“Silas.”

She called his name, but he didn’t move.

His eyes were as dark as midnight.

Vivian gritted her teeth inwardly, despising the feeling of being scrutinized. She abruptly sat up, pushed him down, and straddled his hips.

With a swift motion, she completely tore his robe open.

She had adopted a ‘if I’m bare, you’re going to be bare too’ attitude.

She leaned down and bit hard into his shoulder. Slipping one hand through his hair, she whispered in a deep, enchanting voice, “I can’t take it anymore… I’m going to take you tonight!”

A sudden, sharp scoff escaped the man’s lips.

Silas’s eyes blazed with fire as his hands clamped down on her slender waist.

With a forceful flip-

The tables were instantly turned.

Vivian stared up at him, her breathing heavy. “You…”

The man didn’t give her a chance to finish. He leaned down and captured her lips, enveloping her in a heavy, conquering aura. His kiss carried a scorching, devastating intensity that made Vivian tremble involuntarily.

Silas didn’t close his eyes. He just stared at the woman beneath him.

His dark eyes swirled like a tornado, as if desperate to pull her entirely into his storm.

Vivian wrapped her arms around his neck.
