The Stand-In Who Burned the Script novel Chapter 56

After tidying up the apartment, Vivian prepared to visit their new office space.

"Are the accommodations all set for the staff?"

"Yes."

Zoe nodded. "I contacted a broker before we arrived, and everything is fully handled. Barring any surprises, most of the team can report for duty tomorrow."

Vivian thought for a moment. "Make it the day after tomorrow. Let's have a team dinner tonight, give everyone tomorrow to rest and adjust, and we'll start work the day after."

"Got it."

The drive from her new condo to the office really was short—just a few minutes.

Zoe gave Vivian a walking tour of the area.

When they reached the new office floor, the staff who were already settled in had started unpacking.

Seeing their dedication, Vivian felt a surge of warmth in her chest.

"Thank you all for your hard work. Let's find a nice place tonight to celebrate the move and toast to a bright future."

The spacious floor felt incredibly fresh and full of promise.

Cheers erupted across the office, echoing far down the hall, brimming with hope.

Savor House was one of the finest exclusive restaurants in Northside. Vivian had Zoe book it, and when the team arrived, everyone marveled at their boss's generosity.

"A place that costs hundreds of dollars a plate! If anyone ever says a bad word about Ms. Fairchild again, I'll be the first to fight them!"

"Exactly... moving the entire company was hard enough, and now she's treating us to an expensive meal. We absolutely can't let her down."

"Never. Ms. Fairchild is my absolute goddess!"

"Have you ever seen a boss more gorgeous than Ms. Fairchild? I didn't think so!"

Their lively chatter and laughter drew curious glances from the other private dining rooms as they walked in.

In one of those rooms, a man sat in the corner. His dark gray suit wrapped around a tall, lean physique. He sat with his legs crossed, his strikingly handsome features radiating a quiet, aristocratic elegance.

A deep, resonant voice asked, "Who is that?"

His assistant, Simon Young, answered respectfully, "It looks like a small company's team dinner. They're praising their boss."

The man's brow twitched in understanding.

Coincidentally, the small company's private room was right next door.

There were about a dozen core members, and their conversation revolved entirely around their beautiful female boss—her stunning looks and unmatched presence.
