Darcy was so overwhelmed with gratitude he almost burst into tears. He bent forward in a deep bow, nearly dropping to his knees.

Venus gave a faint smile. “Mr. Weston, I really like the new place you remodeled for me. It saved me so much hassle.”

“My family also owns property in other cities. Ms. Oracle, choose any location you like. I’ll arrange several villas for you and have them decorated however you wish!”

Venus waved dismissively. “That won’t be necessary. Stormvale suits me perfectly.”

Darcy felt a bit disappointed that he couldn’t gift her more homes. He knew she never accepted favors easily. After a short pause, his expression brightened. “My company just took on a documentary project, and quite a major one. I’d love for you to officiate the blessing ceremony, to bless the production.”

Venus looked back at the tall building of the ad agency behind them and blinked. “This company’s yours?”

Darcy laughed and nodded. “Yes. So what brought you here today?”

“I came to see someone.” Venus smiled. “I’ll handle the blessing ceremony. No problem.

“Just one question.”

“Go ahead.”

“Have you confirmed the spokesperson yet?”

Darcy replied truthfully, “I heard there are two options. One is … well, Rayne. The other’s Josh Walker.”

She knew who Josh was.

He and Rayne were rivals.

Both came from Zrebert and worked in the entertainment industry. The press and marketing accounts constantly pitted them against each other, and their fans fought nonstop online.

To be fair, during the early years of their careers, Rayne’s supporters always had the upper hand, leaving Josh’s fanbase crushed.

At that time, Josh didn’t have Rayne’s momentum or connections.

Josh had come from nothing, a small-town kid who climbed all the way up to become a film emperor,

Darcy noticed her silence and assumed she wanted Rayne to win the spot. He chuckled. “Rayne took home the Best Actor award. His traffic is massive, and he’s hotter than Josh. Him getting this spokesperson deal

makes total sense…”

Venus said flatly, “He’s out.”

Darcy blinked. “Ms. Oracle, if you don’t mind me asking… Is it because he treated you poorly?”

Venus smiled faintly. “He’s one scandal away from falling apart. Do you really think someone with twisted values should represent Zrebert?”

Darcy instantly understood. “Got it. I’ll inform the executives and have both candidates go through a detailed background check.

“Ms. Oracle, would you like to come upstairs and watch? They’re both doing a short audition today.”

Venus imagined Rayne’s expression when he saw her. It would be worth it. She agreed.

When the guards saw their boss entering with Venus, smiling, they froze in shock. Their attitude toward her shifted immediately. They bowed quickly. “Hello, Mr. Weston!”

Darcy returned the greeting warmly and led Venus to the elevator, pressing the floor button himself.

“Zrebert’s culture and tourism ambassador is a major role. After multiple rounds of review and expert evaluation, only Rayne and Josh made it to the finals.

“Today, they’ll decide who officially represents Zrebert.”

Venus grew contemplative.
