Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 131 by Ansel Bick

Bianca was still asleep, her phone turned off.

She had been incredibly lethargic lately, and Milo’s family were gracious hosts; no one bothered to wake her.

After Mathis left, Mabel checked Bianca's closet.

Her clothes were neatly arranged, and it looked like nothing was missing.

It seemed she was truly done with that man—she hadn't taken a single thing with her.

Mabel went to the study, found a pen and paper, and wrote a suicide note. She took a photo of it and sent it to Bianca.

Then, she headed to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and slit her wrists. She refused to be a burden to her granddaughter any longer.

She wouldn't let that man continue to use her to control Bianca.

Before slipping into unconsciousness, Mabel murmured, "Bunny, you have to live a happy life from now on. Grandma won't hold you back anymore. You have to find happiness!"

When Bianca turned on her phone, she gasped at the photo of the suicide note. Tears instantly streamed down her face.

Panicking, she dialed Mathis's number and screamed, "Mathis, you animal! Why did you take my grandma? She killed herself!"

Mathis felt as though a steel needle had pierced his brain. He rushed to say, "She was perfectly fine when I left! I... I'll go check on her right now. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."

Without another word, Bianca booked the earliest flight back to Kingsbridge City.

Seeing her in such a frantic rush, Milo hurried over to ask what was wrong. Bianca was already out of her mind with panic, crying, "Mathis took my grandma, and she killed herself!"

Simon walked over, looking deeply apologetic. "I'm so sorry. My men failed to keep an eye on her."

Bianca's mind was a mess as she sprinted toward the door. Milo quickly followed. "I'm coming with you."

The other four accompanied her as well. The flight was scheduled to take off in three hours.

A sharp pain gripped Mathis’s chest. "I'm sorry."

Her tears wouldn't stop falling. She sobbed, "Mathis, I was blind to ever step foot into your hotel room that night. If I could go back to May three years ago, I would have called the cops the second it was over.

"You forced yourself on me, and I let you off the hook. I never made things difficult for you, not even once, yet you refuse to let me go. How can you be so utterly cold-blooded?"

Mathis's face turned ashen, his voice suddenly hoarse, as if something heavy was crushing his chest. "The woman in the hotel that night... was you?"

Three years ago in May, Bianca had been covering her mother's shift at a hotel one evening.

Her mom's health had already started deteriorating by then, though they hadn't paid much attention to it.

Someone called for room service, and when she knocked on the door, she was suddenly dragged inside. It was Mathis.

He had been drugged by someone that night, and he ravished her like a madman.
