Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 177 by Ansel Bick
Bianca sniffled, aggressively wiping away her tears.
"I understand, Grandpa. I will keep fighting to live. I'll wait for karma to finally catch up to them."
She didn't truly believe the universe punished the wicked on its own. She was going to exact her own justice.
She might not have the power right now, but that didn't mean she never would.
She would slowly, meticulously build her own strength.
Seeing she had dropped the thought of suicide, Theodore let out a long sigh of relief.
"If you ever need anything, just say the word. I know I'm Mathis's grandfather, but he has crossed every unforgivable line, and I refuse to tolerate it. There are still laws in this universe, and right will eventually overcome wrong."
"Thank you, Grandpa," Bianca whispered, deep gratitude in her voice. "If I hit a wall, I'll definitely come to you. Goodbye."
On her way back, Bianca recalled what she had told Mathis on the hospital rooftop. Knowing his obsessive, controlling nature, he would undoubtedly try everything in his power to sabotage the mandatory separation period.
She thought it through carefully and drafted a meticulous plan to vanish completely, ensuring Mathis wouldn't be able to track her down before the legal timeframe was up.
Once she reached her apartment, she collapsed onto her bed and called Cillian Calder, giving him a brief rundown of her situation while omitting the part about her trying to kill Mathis.
Cillian listened, his heart racing. "What do you need me to do?"
"Register a brand new, untraceable email address," Bianca instructed. "Make sure Mathis can't track it. We'll communicate strictly through that from now on. If all goes well, we can apply for the new patent in a few months. I need your help filing it—I'm terrified Mathis might intercept the application and use it to find me."
"Consider it done," Cillian said without hesitation. "I'll arrange the manpower at the new branch. Just keep yourself safe. I'll be waiting for you to come back so we can fight this battle together."
"I will. Thank you, Cillian."
She lay in bed for another hour before packing her bags. Running on barely two hours of sleep, she dragged herself up and prepared to head to the bank to withdraw cash.
