Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 202 by Ansel Bick
Seeing this, Bianca, who was taking a sip of water, quickly set her glass down to stop her. "Maxine, he's not my boyfriend. My divorce won't be finalized for another three months. I brought him here today because we need a favor from the professor."
Maxine sighed and ushered them over to the dining table for lunch.
Adler realized that Milo must hold significant weight in Bianca's heart; she rarely ever asked for favors.
"You hardly ever ask me for anything. What happened?"
Bianca explained, "His company's game license application got rejected because my ex-husband pulled some strings. Professor, is there any way you could help?"
Maxine curled her lip in disgust. "That ex-husband of yours really is a piece of work. He just can't stand seeing you do well."
Bianca nodded. "Yeah. If he had acted like a decent human being, I wouldn't be divorcing him in the first place."
Adler thought for a moment and asked Milo, "Is the agency handling the licenses the National Media and Publishing Administration?"
"Yes," Milo replied.
Adler took out his phone and directly added Milo's contact info.
"I'll send you a number. It belongs to the director over there. Just tell him Walter gave you the number, and he'll see you.
Submit whatever documents they need. If he still tries to block you, call me, and I'll chew him out."
Adler forwarded two numbers to Milo, leaving the young man entirely flattered. "Professor Adler, why are you being so good to me?"
Adler wasn't one to beat around the bush. "You treat Bianca well, so you're alright in my book. But if you ever treat her badly, I'll have someone ban every single game your company makes."
Milo quickly smiled. "I wouldn't dare."
With business out of the way, Adler ignored Milo entirely and spent the next few hours deep in conversation with Bianca about her new patent.
As the discussion heated up, Adler excitedly asked Bianca to demonstrate directly on his computer.
Milo and Maxine couldn't understand a single word. Taking the opportunity, Milo stepped away to call the director.
Upon hearing that Adler had referred him, the director immediately provided an email address, instructing Milo to send the relevant documents over so he could investigate who was blocking the approval.
