Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 204 by Ansel Bick
Cynthia's gentle voice was laced with frantic anxiety. "Mathis, I know our existence as mother and son has affected them, but I truly never thought of competing with her. Can you just ask her not to harm Lamont like this?
After all, an innocent child has done nothing wrong. She can't be this cruel. I can't have any more children; Lamont is my entire life."
As she spoke, Cynthia broke down into loud sobs.
Mathis replied faintly, "Handle this matter however you see fit. You don't need to take me into consideration."
Cynthia felt a surge of triumph, but she maintained her sorrowful, reluctant facade.
"Alright... then I have no choice but to call the police."
"Mhm."
Mathis's dark eyes remained fixated on Milo's car as it drove away.
Once inside the car, Bianca immediately let go of Milo's hand.
"Sorry, Milo. I ended up using you again."
Seeing Mathis fuming made Milo incredibly happy, but getting to hold Bianca's hand made him even happier. His heart had been racing the entire time.
He turned to her and said, "Your ex-husband seems to be jealous."
Bianca lost her patience the moment Mathis was mentioned. "He's sick in the head. Just ignore him. Take me home."
Milo relayed Bianca's address to the driver.
Bianca didn't believe for a second that Mathis was actually jealous. He didn't care about her; he was just treating her like a disobedient pet he couldn't stand losing control over.
It was exactly like Rhett Butler in *Gone with the Wind*, constantly claiming he cared about Scarlett. When Scarlett went to him for help, all he cared about was whether she had deceived him.
