Xanthe happily got into Hector's car, as he had offered to take her to an art exhibition.

Xanthe gladly agreed.

Watching them, Bianca couldn't help but sigh: No wonder they clicked so well; even from behind, they looked like a perfect match.

Bianca wished them happiness. A girl as wonderful as Xanthe deserved a beautiful life.

She drove to a music studio and purchased a collector's grade Zither, spending around 150,000 on it.

She tested the strings. It didn't possess the rich, resonant tone of the one Mathis had gifted her, lacking the desolate, weathered acoustic layers unique to a thousand-year-old antique.

After all, an Ancient Zither was something modern instruments simply couldn't replicate.

But she didn't need anything that extravagant. A high-quality studio piece was more than enough for her.

The main goal was to pull herself out of the abyss of her depression.

Plus, a new instrument didn't require the luxury of a climate-controlled room or meticulous, painstaking maintenance.

With her demanding job, she simply didn't have the spare time for that.

Next, Bianca planned to sign up for private yoga sessions, aiming to practice every day during her lunch break.

The studio arranged for the Zither to be delivered, along with complimentary incense, decorative tassels, and sheet music. They even sent a professional tuner to her home.

Bianca played a piece titled *Flowing Water*. The initial notes were clear and crisp, like dew dripping onto cold stone. The middle section swelled with grandeur, sounding like a river tearing through mountains. After the roar faded, the lingering resonance was distant and serene, as if one were standing at an empty mountain ferry crossing, watching the water flow away.

By the time she finished the song, the heavy dust of the world had washed away from her heart.

Playing the instrument really did help. Dr. Sagan was truly brilliant.

Wilma held Aveline nearby, quietly listening to Bianca play.
