Summary for Chapter 273: The Transactional Marriage That Imploded

Read The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Bianca and Mathis Chapter 273 by Ansel Bick

Bianca opened her messages and glanced at the picture. It definitely made her and Milo look intimate, but she had no intention of explaining herself.

Why should she explain anything to her soon-to-be ex-husband? Besides, she and Milo were completely innocent. She wasn't the type to cheat on her marriage.

Mathis had an illegitimate child with Cynthia and had proposed to her, and he had never given her an explanation.

Her tone was flat. "Whatever is going on between me and Milo is none of your business.

Aren't you playing the devoted partner at your woman's bedside? Is she dead yet? If she is, I'll order a hundred wreaths and send them over to ensure she gets a spectacular funeral."

Mathis felt a sharp pain in his chest. Every time he brought up Milo, she used Cynthia to deliberately provoke him.

He knew he didn't have a leg to stand on, so he replied coldly, "Didn't I tell you to give me some time?"

Bianca scoffed. "Why should I listen to you? Your woman needs you to hold a vigil for her tonight. Have fun with that!

The two of you have done so many despicable things. You better watch out for ghosts knocking on your door in the middle of the night. It'd be a real shame if you both got dragged straight down to hell for eternity."

Hearing her curses, his head started ringing. Just as he was about to retort, she hung up.

To ensure absolute peace and quiet, she even turned off her phone.

When Mathis realized he couldn't get through, fury surged from his chest straight to his head. His temples throbbed. She was getting better and better at infuriating him.

If he didn't have unfinished business to deal with, he would have hunted her down right then and there and locked her up at home, just like he used to.

He wouldn't let any other man lay a single finger on her.

But they were at a critical juncture; he couldn't afford to ruin everything now.

Mathis walked back to Cynthia's hospital room. She had already found out that the investigation into her attack had hit a dead end.

In her rage, she had smashed everything in the room.
