The True Heiress: Legend Mode novel Chapter 114

Tristan silently sat down and hastily threw a jacket over himself, although it hardly made him look presentable.

Juno, utterly unfazed by their state, walked Elara in.

"She's crashing here with you guys for a bit."

"Is that really a good idea?"

"That sounds extremely inconvenient."

For once, the two men, who rarely agreed on anything, were perfectly in sync.

Juno gave a slight nod. "I came here to inform you, not to ask for your permission."

Tristan and Kian fell silent.

Classic Juno!

"Look out for her."

The two men simultaneously looked at Elara, who was currently cowering like a frightened bird.

A woman... Ugh...

"What? Do you two have a problem with this?"

"Yes."

"Absolutely."

Juno wasn't in the mood to mince words. "If you have a problem, pack your bags and find another place to stay."

"No problem at all. We have plenty of spare bedrooms anyway."

Elara watched their dynamic with sheer curiosity. Tristan and Kian clearly looked like mature, powerful men of high status, yet they followed Juno's orders without question.

Incredible.

Juno didn't rush off this time. The four of them sat on the couch and launched a co-op game.

Kian glanced at Elara. "I really didn't expect this. You look completely harmless, but you're actually cracked at this game."

Elara smiled sweetly. "Juno is the #1 Valkyrie player on the national server. I'm nothing compared to her."

Tristan chimed in casually, "Don't compare yourself to Juno. She's not human."

After a few rounds, evening fell, and Morgan returned.

Chuck's face was completely dark.

Once dinner wrapped up, everyone went their separate ways. Juno and Chuck headed back to the university.

In the car, Chuck leaned in, trapping Juno against the seat, and whispered, "Thank God you're single? Hmm?"

Juno suddenly felt a wave of cowardice. Was she wrong?

Reading her expression instantly, Chuck didn't give her a chance to argue, capturing her lips in a deep kiss.

His movements were gentle, slowly coaxing her until her breathing hitched.

The next day, during a massive lecture.

Because Juno arrived late, she had to sit near the back, right in front of Faye Ashworth and Rhiannon.

From the moment they sat down, Faye wouldn't stop complaining, seeking advice while Rhiannon offered useless suggestions.

"What should I do, Rhiannon? I work for the Student Union, and my boyfriend is the minister... Should we go public?"

Annoyed by the chatter, Juno turned around and deadpanned, "With the way you're carrying on, people might mistake your boyfriend for the Secretary of Defense."
