Rhiannon felt like she was going to throw up. This was her way of asking for a favor?!
She always acted like she owned the damn world!
And it was exactly that arrogant attitude Rhiannon hated more than anything else!
Driven to the edge, Rhiannon screamed hysterically, "Push me then if you've got the guts! Do it, and you'll never get that spray!!"
In her earpiece, Morgan's voice crackled. "Nothing. We've searched everywhere she's been today."
Morgan's update was the worst possible news.
Perfect. Juno's last shred of patience entirely vanished.
She released the hand pinning Rhiannon's throat. Just as Rhiannon thought she had caved, her entire body suddenly plummeted downward!
The violent rush of weightlessness made her want to scream, but the air caught in her throat.
She thrashed wildly, clawing frantically at Juno's arm.
Juno stared down at Rhiannon's utterly terrified, death-pale face. "Did you really think I wouldn't do it?"
Rhiannon's breath hitched.
Juno is out of her mind!!!
She shrieked at the top of her lungs, "As long as you don't show up on the day of our competition! I'll give you the spray!"
Juno held her dangling by the wrist, casually holding her life in a single grip. "Tell me right now. Where is it?"
Rhiannon swallowed hard. "What if I tell you, and you still show up?!"
If that happened, she'd lose everything!
Juno wordlessly lowered her arm another foot.
Rhiannon screamed in absolute horror. "Ahhhhhhh!!!"
"Did you think we were negotiating?"
Tears streamed uncontrollably down Rhiannon's face. "The spray is with Faye Ashworth!"
Instead of pulling her up, Juno immediately tapped her earpiece, ordering Morgan to execute the search.
Sure enough, ten minutes later, Morgan confirmed it. "We got it."
Only after securing the medicine did Juno finally yank her back over the railing.
Having been suspended over a lethal drop for so long, Rhiannon's legs gave out the second she hit the concrete. She collapsed onto her knees, her face completely numb.
For her, this was an excellent draw.
She placed the Tarot card face-down on the table, her mind calculating her next moves against the backdrop of her roommates' deep slumber.
The next morning, Juno left the campus without telling a single soul.
She vanished without a trace.
Completely unaware of the situation, Claire was frantic.
Today was the day of the academic duel with Rhiannon. Why was Juno suddenly unreachable?
Standing at the front of the hall, Rhiannon kept quiet, waiting with a completely serene expression.
She knew Juno wouldn't show up today.
And after today, Juno's reputation would be permanently destroyed.
A massive crowd had gathered to watch the spectacle.
"One minute left. If Juno doesn't show, it basically means she admits to faking her grades."
"She doesn't seem like the type. Just looking at her, you can tell she's a good student. Plus, grades in college aren't that big of a deal. There's no reason to fake them."
