After one of those endless meetings, Juno stood at the front of the classroom and announced, "We need a turnout for an event this afternoon. You'll get extra credits for attending."

Before Juno even stepped off the podium, a student deliberately challenged her. "President, do you even know why we're stuck here retaking classes?"

The guy gripped the armrests and sat up straight, his face blank. "What the hell happened?"

"Think back. Right before you passed out, did some guy punch you in the face?"

Now that he mentioned it, it all came rushing back.

The guy stared at his friend. "Wait, why are both sides of your face bruised purple?"

His friend smiled, looking bizarrely proud. "I was dead asleep when this huge guy just barged in. Didn't say a word, just clocked me right in the jaw. But honestly, his first punch was weak—it didn't even knock me out. He's got no power."
