The True Heiress: Legend Mode novel Chapter 90

"I... I didn't think anyone would find out..."

Juno was beyond frustrated. "You are completely useless. No matter how much I try to build you up, you just drag yourself right back into the mud."

His upbringing had completely ruined him, turning him into this weak, pathetic man, and it was impossible to fix him now.

This time, Juno had simply trusted the wrong person.

"Five million. Where is it?" Juno demanded through gritted teeth.

"I gave three million to dad... and two million to Aunt Cynthia for an emergency... You can't survive in a place like Kingsland without money..."

Juno closed her eyes. "Pack your things and get out of LK."

Caleb was completely terrified now. Regret crashed over him. "I'll find a way to pay back the five million! Just give me one more chance, Juno... I swear it will never happen again!"

Juno didn't say another word. Two security guards walked in and dragged Caleb out of the office.

The incident caused a massive stir. When Aunt Margie heard the news, she was leisurely watering the flowers in her garden.

"They were always low-class trash. Gerda has let Juno run wild for far too long, and now she's shooting herself in the foot. I can't wait to see how Juno cleans up this mess.

By the way, find a couple of reliable executives to send over and take control of LK."

"Yes, ma'am."

"And make sure a couple of people leak this little scandal to Gerda."

"Understood."

Aunt Margie continued watering her plants. "Ah, after all these twists and turns, LK is finally mine."

Meanwhile, Juno went straight to her adoptive father's current residence.

It was a beautiful two-story villa nestled in the suburbs. He was certainly living a life of luxury.

The second she joined that wealthy family, she completely lost touch with reality. Most people bend over backward to help their own blood, but instead of helping, she's using the Corrington family's power to ruin us! If I had known she would turn out like this, I never would have let her go back."

Now that Caleb was working at LK, his father had grown incredibly arrogant and full of himself. "She definitely needs to be taught a lesson. You can't just forget your roots. Juno really didn't handle this as well as Caleb did."

Jason scoffed arrogantly. "Yeah, next time I see her, I won't hold back. I'll walk right up and slap her across the face to remind her exactly who she is."

"Exactly! Slap her hard!" Aunt Cynthia cheered, her voice razor-sharp and vicious.

*Bang!* Morgan brutally kicked the front door wide open.

Juno strolled inside, oozing an air of absolute, unbridled dominance.

She casually walked into their house as if she owned the place.

Cloaked in a terrifying, bone-chilling aura, Juno looked dead at Jason. "I'm right here. Go ahead. Slap me."

She was absolutely merciless.
