The True Heiress: Legend Mode novel Chapter 93

The five students lingering by the door were stunned. What kind of insane move was this? Audra was definitely going to have security toss them out.

As expected, Audra let out a cold laugh. "Who do you think you're talking to? Is this how you ask for a favor?"

She didn't bother hiding her glance toward the group waiting outside. "You're all from the same university, right? Their attitude is much better. Why shouldn't I give the sponsorship to them instead of you?"

Except for Rhiannon, the other four gasped. Top-level executives really knew how to cut deep.

She didn't use a single profanity, but her words were utterly humiliating.

They started to look at Juno with pity.

But Juno was even more relentless. Leaning heavily on the desk, towering over the executive, her voice was dripping with ice. "Why are you still acting so cocky? Did Octy not crush you hard enough?"

That single sentence shattered Audra's high-and-mighty facade.

Juno pressed on. "Do you think I'd lower myself to come here otherwise?"

The underlying message was clear—if it weren't for Claire, Audra wouldn't even be worthy of breathing the same air as her.

Juno grew impatient. "Sign it."

Stop wasting my time.

Swallowing her pride and barely breathing, Audra didn't even read the contract before flipping to the last page and scribbling her signature.

She shoved it back toward Juno. "Get out!"

Juno didn't take it. Claire quickly accepted it with both hands. "Thank you, Ms. Archer."

Audra looked like she was about to grind her teeth into dust.

Under the stunned gaze of Rhiannon and her entourage, Juno led her team out of the office.

Audra glared at the dumbfounded group still lingering by the door. "The contract is signed. You can leave now."

Halfway through the day, Juno took Claire to Rhoda Sloane's entertainment company.

From an inconspicuous corner, a camera shutter clicked rapidly.

Rhoda knew Juno was coming, so the entire office was on their best behavior.

Running an entertainment agency gave Rhoda a sixth sense for paparazzi.

Almost instantly, she zeroed in on the exact location of the spy.

She slipped over quietly before suddenly lunging forward, pinning the man by the back of his neck and twisting his arm behind him.

Her security team rushed over and effortlessly dragged the guy into her office.

Rhoda scrolled through the DSLR camera, finding photo after photo of Juno.

Every angle, every expression.

The man shivered in fear. "Please let me go! I just take pictures! Besides, there aren't even any ugly ones in there!"

It was ridiculous. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't catch Juno slipping.

She looked flawless from literally every angle.

"What kind of logic is that? You think I'll let you go just because you didn't get any bad shots? Why are you following her?"
