"She was on a show recently, and someone didn't like her. They paid me to get some embarrassing photos..."
The man looked like he was about to cry, whimpering miserably. "I've been tailing her for half a month and haven't gotten a single bad shot! This is the only failure of my entire career!"
This woman was way too freaky.
Staring into the man's desperate eyes, Rhoda handed the camera back to him. After a moment of deep thought, she offered a very serious suggestion. "How about you just ask her to take a couple of selfies for your quota?"
The man stared at her like she had lost her mind.

Claire brought the sponsorship contract back to the university. The department head was thrilled. As for Rhiannon, everyone in the department silently agreed not to bring it up.
But Rhiannon wasn't willing to let it go. She went straight home and found Uncle Gordon. "I wouldn't be bothering you if I had another choice. My school is hosting a music festival, and I was hoping you could help me invite a few famous singers to perform. Someone like Ashmere, for example."
Gordon agreed easily. "I thought this was going to be a real problem. Leave it to me."
"Thank you so much."
"No need to thank family."
Hanging up, Gordon immediately pulled some strings to get the singer on board.
To his surprise, her management replied that she was already scheduled to perform at Northbridge.
Pleased, he gave Rhiannon a definitive confirmation.
Rhiannon casually mentioned it to Faye Ashworth, and before long, half the campus knew about it.
Ashmere was the kind of rising artist whose profound, emotionally resonant music struck a chord with students. Most of the university absolutely adored her.
Rhiannon sat down with her tray. "Just ignore them."
But Faye wasn't the mature type. With an opening like this, there was no way she was going to sit quietly and eat her lunch. "No way, I'm going over there."
Before Rhiannon could even look up, Faye was already marching toward Juno's table.
"Wow, I could see you seething from across the room. I guess some people just can't accept reality. Since you wrote the proposal, why didn't you invite Ashmere?"
Claire's voice was frigid. "We did."
Faye threw her head back and laughed. "Ha! Careful not to pull a muscle with that reach. Rhiannon invited her, so have some shame. Did one little sponsorship deal go straight to your head?"
Claire was about to explode. Juno glanced at her before speaking softly, her lips barely parting. "Let's just hope that on the night of the festival, you're brave enough to admit she was invited by Rhiannon right to her face."
