Finn replied, “They’re still waiting downstairs. They think it’s Ms. Sanchez’s fault, and say they’d host a dinner, asking Ms. Sanchez to apologize to Ms. Zoey personally.

“Oh, and Mr. Bailey said he came to see you about a new energy cooperation project. He claims to have a good proposal related to new energy.”

Shawn let out a cold laugh. “He really is stupid. Even if his proposal were good, I wouldn’t dare work with him. I don’t know how he got that proposal, or whether it might come back to bite us later.”

Finn nodded in agreement.

He also thought Matthew was foolish, treating Scarlett like a useless daughter and completely underestimating her true capabilities.

Matthew probably didn’t even realize how biased he was.

Scarlett had already shown so many abilities on the show, yet he was blind to it.

Finn asked, “Should we contact Ms. Sanchez directly?”

Shawn shook his head. “No. Tell Zoey to send Ms. Sanchez an invitation. Say the Quinn family is holding a family dinner this Saturday night. Have Zoey deliver the invitation to her tonight and make sure to thank her properly.”

If it weren’t for Scarlett, Callie might have been tortured to death.

Thinking about how Callie looked when she first returned to the Quinn Estate made his heart ache.
