Chapter 130 Suggestion
When Scarlett saw Monkey King bolt, she didn’t hesitate.
She quickly grabbed the little monkey that had led her there before.
The poor thing was about to pee itself, squealing so loudly it echoed through the forest.
Scarlett knew it was a bit sneaky, but she really didn’t want to chase the Monkey King anymore.
Monkey King actually cared about his troop.
She glanced at the nearby trees, where about 20 monkeys of all sizes clung to the branches.
A plan formed in her mind.

Holding the small monkey lightly by the neck, she beckoned the Monkey King with a finger, “Come over. Let’s talk.”
Monkey King was already terrified of Scarlett, but one of his troops was in her hands.
Even though he couldn’t understand human language, he got the message. She wanted him to come over.
A flicker of hesitation crossed his square, blocky monkey face.
In the end, he grabbed a vine and swung down in front of her.
Scarlett then relaxed her grip on the little monkey.
‘Her ears were still ringing from its screams.
She hadn’t even hurt it–just a couple of slaps at the start.
And yet it had run straight to call Monkey King to beat her up.
So what was it scared of?
Being here, Scarlett finally understood why those monkeys kept running down the mountain to steal food from zoo visitors.
They were probably starving.
They only took food–never anything else.
With pollution and spiritual energy drying up, even the forest’s resources were dwindling.
Wild animals weren’t having an easy time.
Those monkeys were actually doing better than most.
At least they’d secured a stable water source,
Food, though, was the unstable part.

When Monkey King approached, Scarlett said, “I know leading this many monkeys isn’t easy, but you can’t keep stealing food from visitors, right?
“That’s just going to make people hate you. It’s not worth it. If you want peace with humans, you need to-”
Halfway through, she noticed his blank expression.
Yeah. He hadn’t understood a single word.
Fine.
Monkey King was much dumber than Grezeol.
At least Grezeol had been able to understand her vaguely.
Even giving Monkey King spiritual essence might not help him grasp human language anytime soon.
Still, Scarlett plucked a large leaf and concentrated a dozen drops of spiritual essence from her crystal bead.
“Want some?”
Monkey King didn’t get the words, but he instinctively knew the thing in her hand was incredibly good for him.
He wanted it.
The other monkeys nearby slowly gathered as well.
Monkey King’s eyes never left the spiritual essence in Scarlett’s hand.
With a sigh, she fed it to him.
He cupped the leaf carefully and licked up every last drop.
It was barely a mouthful.
After drinking it, he felt closer to the human in front of him.
He wasn’t as afraid anymore.
He even felt that trying to attack her earlier had been way too much.
Seeing him calm down, Scarlett formed the beast–controlling seal.
Her cultivation was too low. She barely managed it, and the spiritual energy in her body was instantly
drained.
The beast–controlling seal didn’t just control beasts. It allowed communication with them.
Scarlett pressed the seal on Monkey King’s head.
With her spiritual energy exhausted, she felt dizzy and quickly sipped some spiritual essence herself.

Then she repeated her words and continued, “So, you can’t grab food from visitors anymore. You need to live peacefully.
“You can train your troops to help greet visitors at the zoo, like with a short welcome dance.
“Or have them help clean up inside. Basically, be polite monkeys. Then people will love you and feed you every time they see you.”
