The Ultimate Reborn Heiress
Chapter 16 Delivery Rider
Growing up, her parents had barely even let her eat takeout, let alone learn how to deliver it.
Michael sighed helplessly. “No. But you can swap jobs within your own group.”
As soon as he said that, Zayden swapped the slip in his hand with Brianna.
“Brianna, I’ll trade with you.”
Comments immediately came. [To be fair, Zayden does treat his girlfriend pretty well.]
[Exactly. I’m kinda jealous. At least she’s got a boyfriend who puts her first. Even what he did to Scarlett back then was ‘for his girlfriend’s sake,‘ right?]
[Heh. When you end up in Scarlett’s place and get thrown under the bus like that, I hope you still think the guy who ruined your name is such a good boyfriend.]
[Zayden is gross, but Scarlett’s no saint either. Haven’t you seen her scandals? She’d barely debuted when she got to appear in a music video for a national–award–winning singer and immediately acted like she was some A–lister. Then, she got exposed for bullying a rookie on set.]
[Bet she never thought that ‘little rookie‘ she bullied would end up with more traffic, better resources, and basically be a rising leading lady now.]
[Exactly. Even if Zayden’s disgusting, stop trying to whitewash Scarlett. Same type of trash. Didn’t she also cheat on that big exam back then?]
The livestream chat exploded into an argument, and viewer numbers sl were over a million people in the room.
Brianna looked at Zayden gratefully.
“Zayden, thank you.”
Zayden ruffled her hair. “I’m your boyfriend. You don’t need to thank me.”
Brianna’s cheeks flushed pink, her eyes full of syrupy affection.
In no time, there
Watching the two of them act like the rest of the world didn’t exist, even Selina, standing next
to them, frowned slightly and shuffled two steps away.
Nothing turned her off faster than a pair of walking, talking romance–brains.
All six guests had drawn their assigned jobs.
Fortunately, the production team had done their homework–gear was ready, and the bakeries had already been arranged. Each guest would act alone, though.
Only the two delivery workers needed to register their own rider accounts.
Only the street stall earned cash in real time. Food delivery and bakery shifts would be tallied up by the show and paid out as a day’s wages that night.
Michael said, “All right, time to get to work.”
Once Michael left, the other five guests still looked a little lost.
