Chapter 164 The Transfer
[Compared to Hazel’s mom, Scarlett keeps snapping at people. She has no manners. I kind of get why Hazel called her crazy behind her back.]
[Scarlett has no manners? And Hazel does? I can picture her rolling her eyes while texting Gemma, saying Scarlett is crazy.]
[Why does it feel like today’s livestream comments are being controlled? It’s all people defending Hazel.]
[Hazel is really good at hiring trolls. Just think about how many trolls are in the livestream right now.]
[Wow. The show hasn’t even officially started, and she’s already using trolls.]
The livestream comment was a mess.
But thanks to Hazel showing up, the viewer count was blowing up.
Leona handed out gifts to everyone first, then walked over to Scarlett.
‘Scarlett, I brought you a skincare set. I watch your livestreams. I noticed you don’t even use skincare at night,” Leona said, handing her a luxury skincare set.
The whole set cost around 30,000 dollars.
[Scarlett’s stepmom is actually pretty nice to her.]
[Thirty thousand for skincare? I’ll never use something that expensive in my life.]
Scarlett stared at Leona. “Do I look like I need skincare? You should keep it for yourself.”
After she said that, she glanced at Leona’s right hand.
There was sigil energy on it.
Scarlett frowned and looked away before Leona noticed she’d seen anything.
[LOL. Sometimes it feels so good watching Scarlett talk. She never pretends to be nice to people she doesn’t like.}
[Scarlett’s skin is literally perfect. Everyone’s wearing makeup. She looks like she’s not wearing any, and her skin is flawless. It’s soft like tofu. And she doesn’t even use skincare. In her old livestreams, she would just come out of the shower at night, put on some scar–removal cream, and that’s it. Nothing else.
[Let’s be real, Scarlett is gorgeous. Her bone structure is great, she looks good from every angle, and her features are beautiful. Hazel got her mom’s looks, which are just average. But she’s young, has good skin. and a small face ]
[Not gonna lie, when they stand next to each other, Scarlett beats Hazel even without makeup. You can’t look too closely at Hazel’s features. She’s just very pale. Her skin kind of looks blurry, like she has a beauty filter on.]

[Every time I see Hazel, her skin looks kind of foggy and pale. Now that you say it, yeah, it does look like a beauty filter.]
[I’m all about looks. I love Scarlett!]
Leona was furious inside, but she didn’t show it on her face.
She sighed. “Scarlett, do you think we were too strict with you? Last time you made your dad mad and even said you wanted to cut ties with him. He’s still upset…”
Scarlett stared at her. “Are you talking about the time Matthew got mad because he didn’t have his facts straight? The time he came over to hit me because he thought I offended the Quinns, only to find out it was actually your precious daughter, Hazel, who messed up?”
Leona froze.
She didn’t expect Scarlett to say it out loud.
She wanted to explain, but Scarlett had lifted her chin slightly and looked down at her.
“Let’s stop right there. I already made it clear last time. I have nothing to do with the Baileys anymore. If you see me, act like you don’t know me. If you keep talking in my face, don’t blame me if I slap you.”
Leona’s face finally darkened.
She stammered for a second but couldn’t find the words.
She honestly thought Scarlett had lost her mind–who talks to their parents like that on camera?
Leona turned to Zayden and Brianna beside her. “Please look after Hazel on the show.”
Brianna glanced at Scarlett, then looked back at Leona with a smile. “Don’t worry. I’ll take care of her.”
“Thank you.” Leona sighed, as if Scarlett had broken her heart. As she turned to leave, she suddenly stumbled and grabbed onto Zayden for support.
Zayden held Leona’s arm. “Are you okay?”
Leona smiled at him. “I’m fine. Thank you.”
When she pulled her hand back, she casually glanced at the pendant around Zayden’s neck.
Then she looked at the emerald bracelet on Hazel’s wrist.
Right after that, Leona felt a slight warmth in her palm.
She knew it worked.
She slowly raised her right hand and saw that the mark on her palm was gone.
The “luck magnet” inside Zayden’s pendant–the thing that attracted good luck–had been transferred to
Hazel’s emerald bracelet.
