Chapter 236 Headache Treatment
Her real name was Peggy Jimenez.
In her early twenties, she came from a comfortable, middle–class family. Her parents were both alive and well. She had an older brother and sister–in–law, and everyone got along.
It was a small, happy household.
Peggy had already started working. She had a steady office job, earning a little over six thousand a month, and she still lived at home.
So her salary was basically disposable income, and she spent freely, shopping whenever she felt like it.
She suffered from seborrheic alopecia, and it had become fairly severe. Even if she washed her hair every day, it turned greasy within hours.
Her hair had thinned drastically. Therefore, she wore hats or wigs whenever she went out.
She had seen countless doctors and undergone long–term treatments, but nothing worked.
She had tried every hair growth serum and folk remedy she could find.
Nothing really changed.
So when she saw her favorite influencer purchase a hair growth serum from a new local brand’s online shop, saying she wanted to test the results, Peggy followed closely.
She checked in every day, asking how effective the serum was.
After receiving that lukewarm reply from the influencer, her heart still sank.
She felt frustrated.
Because she had already tried almost every brand of hair serum on the market.
Some did stimulate a bit of fine baby hair within a week or two,
But the moment she stopped using them, those fragile strands fell out completely.
It was as if nothing had happened.
So seeing that response, she felt disappointed.
She had almost decided to give up, or she could just keep wearing hats, or shave her head and rely on wigs.
Yet for some reason, she still couldn’t stop herself from opening the same online shop the influencer had
linked.
The store, called Daphne, had only a handful of products.
The sales numbers were painfully low, and there was only one positive review.

It looked suspiciously fake.
And yet, she kept clicking on the hair growth serum listing to read the description and usage instructions. again and again.
By the time she snapped out of it, she had already placed the order.
She bought two bottles of the hair growth serum.
Peggy muttered to herself, “Whatever. I’ll just try it. It’s only a couple thousand bucks.”
She had to try, right? What if a miracle actually happened?
Even as she thought that, she gave a self–mocking smile, telling herself not to expect too much.
She closed the page and waited.
The next morning, Scarlett woke up early, exercised, washed up, had breakfast, studied for a bit, and then. checked her shop’s backend. There was a new order.
The buyer ID read, “BelongtoPeggy.”
It was obviously the same person who had been asking Fox on social media whether the serum actually worked.
Scarlett knew that although she followed the influencer, she was almost certainly someone struggling with hair loss herself.
In the end, she hadn’t fully trusted the influencer’s words. Therefore, she still decided to give it a try.
Scarlett said nothing. She simply packaged the products and shipped them out.
After the courier picked up the parcel, the doorbell rang not long after.
Scarlett knew it must be the auto mechanic with chronic head pain from yesterday’s livestream.
She went to open the gate.
It was indeed the mechanic and his wife.
There was also a thin, undersized teenage boy, about thirteen or fourteen.
He was most likely the mechanic’s apprentice.
The two were supporting the mechanic between them.
His forehead was drenched in cold sweat. The pain had already blurred his vision, and it looked like he was in the middle of an attack.
“Get him inside first,” Scarlett said, stepping forward to help. They carefully supported him into the house.
As soon as they entered the villa, the three of them felt a sudden chill.

They didn’t think much of it. They had no idea the place had once been considered a haunted property.
Scarlett brought out a set of acupuncture needles.
After sterilizing them, she said, “I’ll start with needle therapy to ease the pain. Then I’ll prescribe herbal medicine for you to take at home. Come back once a week for treatment. After seven sessions, you’ll be cured.”
