Chapter 428 Ten Days to Bring Him Back
Scarlett said, “Stanley, you don’t have to thank me. It’s what I should do.”
As long as she didn’t dislike someone, she was willing to help.
Stanley thanked her again and again. Then he said, “Ms. Sanchez, in a few days, when Ferris’s older brother and the rest of the family return, we’d like to invite you to dinner to properly thank you. Would you be free?”
He was truly grateful.
Scarlett replied, “Mr. Stanley, to be honest, I might be busy in the next few days. I won’t be able to get away But I’ll come back every ten days to treat Ferris. Once things calm down, we can set up dinner, okay?”
She was about to start working in the lab, so she really couldn’t spare the time.
Stanley didn’t push it.
After the call ended, Simon looked at Scarlett with clear admiration. It was like there was nothing she couldn’t do.
‘Scarlett, you’re amazing.”
Scarlett just shook her head and glanced at the man lying in bed.
Ferris lay there quietly. His brows were slightly furrowed. His pale, handsome face had regained a bit of color. His long white hair spread softly around him.
Scarlett looked away.
Simon leaned closer to the bed and muttered, “I wonder if Uncle Ferris will wake up next time.”
Then he quickly corrected himself, spitting lightly over his shoulder. “No, no, no. He will wake up. Uncle Ferris will definitely get better.”
Scarlett glanced at Simon. In front of fans and online, he always seemed cold and distant. But in private. he was different. Around family and close friends, he showed another side of himself.
Simon turned and asked, “Scarlett, when can you do the next round of treatment?”
“In ten days,” she said.
Same as her mother, once every ten days.
Simon nodded. “Then call me when it’s time. I’ll come pick you up.”
Scarlett shook her head. “No need. I can drive myself. Will will be here.”
She would likely come straight from the lab anyway.

Chapter 428 Ten Days to Bring Him Back
Simon didn’t argue. They were already close friends.
Half an hour later, Scarlett removed the needles from Ferris.
There weren’t any special instructions to give.
Even now, she still couldn’t figure out why Ferris was in a coma. His body and energy pathways showed no signs of illness or injury.
And yet, when she used her spiritual energy to nourish him, he could respond and wake.
The treatment was over.
Simon asked Will to stay and take care of Ferris, while he walked out with Scarlett.
On the way, Scarlett asked, “Simon, before your uncle fell into a coma, did anything unusual happen?”
Simon shook his head.
‘No, Back then, I was still living at the family estate with him. He was sixteen at the time, five years older han me. I was about eleven. Since we weren’t that far apart in age, I followed him everywhere.”
He began telling her about Ferris.
Because they were close in age, Simon always trailed behind him, wanting to play.
But Ferris rarely paid him much attention.
He was incredibly smart. School was never a problem for him.
But he didn’t seem to care about anything. He lost interest in things pretty quickly.
‘At least, that’s how it looked to me,” Simon said. “But I know the truth. In those few minutes he cared, he’d already mastered everything.”
When he was a kid, Simon had admired him deeply.
Later, Ferris grew into a confident, sharp young man.
As for his personality, he became more and more different from others.
At the time, he drove Stanley crazy.
Simon continued, “Then, when Uncle Ferris turned sixteen, just a few days after his birthday, everything seemed normal. We had breakfast. Then people left for school and work.”
They all lived together at Stanley’s estate.
After breakfast, Ferris still hadn’t come downstairs.
He was always the last one to wake up.
