Chapter 79 The Tiger That Wouldn’t Move

“Don’t you dare!” Scarlett shouted.

The tiger froze mid–crawl.

It couldn’t understand human words, but for some reason, that sharp voice reminded it of the powerful roar that had crushed it earlier. Fear rose in its chest. It didn’t dare move at all.

Scarlett walked over and patted the tiger’s head.

Sure enough, the bigger the fluffy thing, the better it felt to touch.

Only then did she turn to the child.

“Why are you still standing there? Hurry up and leave.”

The child looked at Scarlett with wide eyes and suddenly burst into tears. “Angel, save me. I can’t move.”

He was terrified. But he had seen it clearly; Scarlett had simply said a few words, and the tiger froze.

She even touched the tiger’s head, and it didn’t react at all.

That meant this girl was amazing.

The kid could still cry and talk. He even knew how to call her angel.

Scarlett sighed. “Alright, stop yelling and get moving.”

She walked over and pressed a few pressure points on his legs and body.

The kid wasn’t injured. He was just terrified that his muscles had locked up.

He moved his legs a little and realized he could move again.

“Wow! You’re incredible! I can move now!”

Scarlett said, “Go. Your dad is coming to get you.”

The child turned around and saw his father stumbling toward him, legs shaking, limping, and trembling,

Then the kid looked back at the tiger and suddenly said, “Can I pet the tiger’s head?”

Scarlett was about to scold this reckless little troublemaker, but that boy had the nerve to touch the tiger head.

But before she could answer, the child saw that the tiger was still frozen in the same pose.

He knew it must be scared of Scarlett.

The boy squatted down, quickly patted the tiger’s head once, then turned and ran.

In the distance, the father saw this and went weak in the knees. He dropped straight to the ground.

But this one looked soft and fragile, yet made it feel fear and submission.

When Scarlett saw the kid and his dad finally run out of the enclosure, she sat down on the ground.

She patted the space beside her, signaling the tiger to lie down.

But the tiger didn’t understand.

It had never been trained. It had no owner,

One of its back legs limped a little. You could tell from the way it had jumped earlier.

Its hind leg must have been injured before.

And it was too big to have grown up in a zoo.

It felt more like a wild tiger that had been hurt, couldn’t hunt anymore, and was later taken in by the zoo.

That kind of tiger was wilder and less likely to listen to humans.

“So dumb,” Scarlett sighed.

She found a cracked bowl, walked to a nearby pond, scooped some water, and added more than ten drops of spiritual essence. Then she brought it back to the tiger.
