“So, what can I do to cheer you up? Should we go shopping?” Nathalie asked, tilting her head.
Damaris’s eyes brightened. “Forget shopping. Let’s check out some male models or something. Honestly, I’ve had enough of seeing unattractive guys lately. I need a reset for my eyes. Let’s find some good–looking
ones.”
Nathalie smiled, already grabbing her bag. “Sure, let’s do it.”
Damaris grinned. “Love it. Let’s go.”
They went straight to BlueNight, skipping the VIP rooms and sliding into a booth by the bar. Damaris waved at the manager, signaling for drinks and asked for all the male models to line up in front of them. She was in the nood to browse.
The manager checked their designer clothes and jewelry, gave a polite
od, and hurried off. It didn’t take long before twenty men stood neatly in a row for them to inspect.
Damaris crossed her arms and pinched her chin, strolling up and down he line like an art critic appraising a gallery. She looked each of them over, not hiding her disappointment.
Finally, she pointed. “That one stays. The rest… not working for me. Bring another round.”
Another group appeared. Then another. By the time she’d seen about sixty guys, Damaris had picked out five who made the cut. She finally sat back, looking pleased.
“Alright, gentlemen. Make sure I have a good night and you’ll be rewarded. Promise.” Her voice had a playful edge
The five men moved in, massaging her shoulders, kneading her legs, pouring her drinks, feeding her fruit. One of them flashed a cheeky grin
and placed her hand on his abs. “Want to check these out?”
Damaris practically melted, any trace of her earlier gloom long gone.
Nathalie watched, amused, her mind wandering. Could this really be the secret cure? Beautiful men as therapy?
Her phone buzzed. She glanced down. Nicol had texted.
Ms. Blair, don’t worry. I’m right behind you to your left. Enjoy yourself.
Nathalie let herself smile, her tense nerves relaxing a little.

BlueNight definitely had high standards for their models. Every one of them looked like they’d stepped out of a magazine.

“Babe,” the model murmured, voice sinking lower and softer as he lear in, close enough she could feel the warmth of his breath.
Across the room, not too far away, Bagot stood with his hands in his pockets, chatting with Lance. Suddenly, something caught his eye. He grabbed Lance’s arm.
