Chapter 368
“You talk too much.”
Lance’s gaze remained fixed on the building ahead, his tone exceptionally
cold.
Bagot sighed. “Lance, you don’t actually want to divorce Nathalie, do you? If so, you should just go and tell her that.”
‘I’m not looking at her.”
_ance finally pulled his gaze away, his expression stern. “I was just ooking at the stars.”
Bagot rolled his eyes dramatically.
‘Lance, even a dog wouldn’t believe that line.”
-ance had been standing there ever since Freddy entered the apartment building–a full five hours!
Even Bagot was getting tired.
He couldn’t figure out why Freddy had stayed for so long. They weren’t hat close, so what could they possibly have to talk about? Bagot had a strong dislike for Freddy.
‘Has your sister found what I’m looking for abroad?” Lance asked.
Bagot sighed again. “No news. She’s gone off the grid again. I can’t reach
her.”
At this, Lance frowned slightly.
Going off the grid meant she was in an extremely dangerous place and had to be incredibly careful not to be discovered, which naturally meant she couldn’t contact anyone from the outside.
Just then, the door to the apartment building opened, and Freddy’s figure emerged.
Bagot’s eyes lit up. “Lance, he’s out! Let’s go.”
Lance shot him a cold, dark look.
Bagot rubbed his nose and gave him a sheepish, foolish grin.
Freddy took a small path back to his own home, not noticing the two men watching him.
_ance withdrew his gaze just as his phone began to ring.
He took it out and saw it was a call from Aaron.
‘Hello?”
‘Lance, two things,” Aaron said. “First, I went to the place where Felice’s rail was found. It’s completely empty. I couldn’t find any new clues. I’ve ailed you. Second, the men who stole Nathalie’s purse today have been ound. Would you like to see them?”
Yes. Where are they?”
‘An abandoned factory on the outskirts of the city.”

The night was thick and quiet.
Nathalie had just showered and was about to get into bed when her phone rang.
She glanced at the screen and immediately declined the call.
However, the caller was relentless, dialing again and again.
She frowned slightly but finally answered. “What is it?”
“Come down.”
Lance’s tone was just as cold, seemingly tinged with impatience
Nathalie let out a soft laugh. “You need something? Just say it over the phone.”
