The Unwavering Heart That Broke (Nathalie and Lance) novel Chapter 487

Chapter 487

After delivering her final word, Nathalie didn’t spare Daniel another glance. She turned on her heel and walked out of the alley.

“Nathalie, don’t go! Just give me one chance to make this right! Nathalie…

Desperate, Daniel lunged forward, trying to grab her.

If she left now, how would he ever see her again?

If he couldn’t see her, what would happen to The Blair Family?

Was he supposed to just accept his fate?

He had built The Blair Group from the ground up, weathering decades of storms to forge his empire. Now, he had absolutely nothing. How could he possibly accept that?

The only thing he could do was hold onto Nathalie, beg for her

forgiveness, and make her agree to help him.

But Nicol stepped in and shoved him back.

“You old fool, are you deaf? She doesn’t want to see you! If your ears are

just for decoration, I can cut them off for you right now!”

Nicol was furious. How could anyone be this shameless?

Daniel pushed back futilely against him. “Don’t stop me! That’s my daughter, the daughter I raised with my own two hands! Nathalie, don’t go! Your mother is incredibly sick. Even when she’s unconscious, she calls out your name! Nathalie!”

Nathalie’s footsteps paused.

Daniel’s eyes lit up with hope, and he quickly added, “Nathalie, your mother always treated you well! She was so good to you. You can’t take your anger out on her. Please, just go see her. She’s really, really sick.

Chapter 487

She’s dying…”

He genuinely believed that Nathalie would soften out of love for her mother. He was desperate to seize this one sliver of hope.

But Nathalie didn’t even turn around. “When you two poisoned my grandmother, did it ever cross your mind that she might have missed her daughter too? Do you have any idea what state my grandmother is in right now? She’s unresponsive, her mind is deteriorating, and her memory is fading! And all of it is because of you!”

Her hands, hanging by her sides, curled into tight fists. She turned her head slightly to glare at him. “If you call my name one more time, I swear I’ll kill you myself!”

The pure, unadulterated hatred burning in her clear eyes was so intense that Daniel stumbled backward in genuine terror.

Nathalie marched out of the alleyway. Once she was back out in the open, she finally felt like she could breathe again. She took several deep breaths to ease the tight, suffocating ache in her chest.

Nicol quickly caught up with her. “Miss Nathalie, are we really not going to do anything? Letting him walk away like that feels too easy on him.”

Nathalie replied coldly, “For the rest of his long life, he’s going to be living in absolute misery. A fate worse than death.”

Stripped of his power and status, refusing to accept his reality, and burdened with Camilla’s severe illness-Daniel’s hardest days were still

ahead of him!

Nicol thought about it for a moment, realized she was absolutely right, and didn’t push the issue further.
