Larissa answered without hesitation.

“I like how straightforward you are. That’s refreshing,” Bailey said with a laugh.

Bailey lifted his glass and clinked it lightly against Larissa’s soda.

Larissa unlocked her phone and uploaded another surveillance video from the same location.

This was the real footage that showed the truth.

At the start, Julia and Larissa were arguing.

Julia’s face was twisted with anger.

“Larissa, why did you come back?” she shouted. “Why didn’t you just die out there? I’m the daughter of this family. You’re just an orphan with no parents. Everything this family owns has nothing to do with you. My mom even sold you to that hellhole, Ravenmind Island. How lucky are you to be alive and come back?”

Larissa froze, then became emotional.

“What did you say?” she asked.

“I was sold to Ravenmind Island by your mom? Does that mean Dad didn’t know? Does that mean he still cares about me, right?”

She shook her head, her voice trembling.

“Julia, I know who I am. I won’t fight you for anything. I just want to stay near Dad. I grew up without parents. I don’t want to leave him or my brothers.”

Julia laughed coldly.

“Stop dreaming,” she snapped. “That’s my father and my brothers. What does that have to do with an orphan like you?”

There was no trace of her usual gentle image. She pointed at Larissa, full of arrogance.

After saying that, Julia suddenly jumped into the water.

Larissa stared in shock and reached out to grab her.

At that moment, Harlan appeared. When he saw Julia struggling and calling for help, he jumped into the water and pulled her out.
