Chloe said calmly, "Hello, John."

"John, I heard you've been looking for Jenna Cameron."

"Jenna Cameron?" John's voice changed instantly. "That bitch. You know where she is?"

Chloe looked out the window and, word by word, read the words on the signboard.

"She's currently in the Republic of Veritas, but she's convinced you'll never find her."

John demanded, "Who are you? What do you get out of doing this?"

Chloe replied, "What do you think?"

John sneered. "You hate her? So you want to use me to deal with her? Where did you get this information? Are you also on the boat? If you've looked into this, don't you know she used to be my woman? Aren't you afraid I'll help her?"

Chloe said, "You're not that pathetic."

John fell silent.

He laughed out of anger. "Fine. Rest assured, I won't let Jenna go. As for you, I'll definitely drag you out into the open too!"

Chloe hung up the phone directly.

She immediately removed the SIM card and tossed it into the flower bed outside the hotel.

The car drove off again.

Belle still couldn't calm down. "Do you think John will really come looking for Jenna?"

Chloe nodded. "He will."

Based on the information they had gathered over the past few days, Jenna had likely embezzled a significant amount of money from him.

For a cruel and selfish man like John, being treated like that by someone else was absolutely unacceptable.
