The words on the tip of Quentin's tongue were interrupted just like that. He said nothing more and stepped inside.
Belle muttered softly behind him, "Tch, let's see how long you can play tough!"
With that, she followed them in.
It was an extremely elegant and comfortable restaurant. The sound of a violin drifted through the air, and outside the floor-to-ceiling windows lay a beautiful night view.
While they waited for their food, a faint noise came from nearby.
Noticing it, Belle said, "Chloe, I think the handsome guy at the next table is looking at you."
Chloe frowned and glanced over.
A few Caucasian men were seated at the adjacent table. All of them had striking looks and extraordinary auras.
Seeing Chloe look their way, they all smiled and offered greetings.
Chloe retracted her gaze and remarked, "Foreigners are quite enthusiastic."
"I think there's more to it than that," Belle said.
She deliberately looked at Quentin. "Mr. Shaw, what do you think?"
Quentin didn't respond. He simply stood up and said to Chloe, who was next to him, "Let's switch seats."
"Huh?" Chloe was momentarily stunned, but she stood up and swapped places with him.
Quentin's tall frame completely blocked Chloe from view.
Belle cast a meaningful glance.
Quentin acted as if he hadn't noticed a thing, calmly picking up his water glass.
They thought that would be the end of it, but unexpectedly, the violinist suddenly walked over.
He bowed gracefully to Chloe and said, "Beautiful lady, the gentleman at the next table has requested a song for you."
Chloe frowned. "That's not necessary."
The musician smiled slightly and began to play a passionate tune.
Chloe initially felt it was a bit intrusive, but the musician's skill was incredibly high, and the melodious violin notes instantly drew her in.
Even Belle was completely mesmerized.
