“Fake documents?” Danielle raised an eyebrow, a flicker of understanding in her eyes.
“Yes,” Alexander confirmed. “The documents look identical to the real ones, but they’re laced with data that seems critical but contains fatal flaws. They’re desperate to get the core technology, so they won’t bother to verify it carefully. They’ll just take it straight to their researchers or report it up the chain.”
Danielle paused, her fingertips tapping lightly on the table as her mind raced. “Once they get their hands on these fake documents, they’re bound to turn on each other.”
She looked up at Alexander. “Harold’s network is a complex web of foreign organizations and domestic opportunists. They’ve only managed to team up because they share a common goal—”
“To get the core technology for the 07 fighter jet,” she finished. “But as soon as they try to use this fake data, whether it’s the massive deviations in development or the catastrophic consequences that follow, it will sow suspicion among them.”
Her voice was low but her logic was clear. “Some will think Harold deliberately gave them false information to hoard the real prize for himself. Others will suspect there’s a mole in their own ranks who leaked the wrong files.”
Alexander listened quietly. She understood everything so perfectly. It had been a long time since they’d talked like this. She was the only person whose thoughts could align so seamlessly with his own.
“The most effective way to solve this problem is to let their alliance crumble from within,” Danielle continued. “And the key to all of this is their lack of trust.”
“What’s going on? Are they rekindling old flames?”
Gian looked at the screen, his fingers tapping out a slow reply. “Actually, the feelings between them never really disappeared. They just never faced them. They’ve missed too much. It's not about rekindling old flames; the fire never truly went out.”
He sent the message and put his phone away, his gaze returning to the pair. It was true. The feelings buried deep in their hearts had only been temporarily obscured by misunderstandings and the passage of time. All it took was a single spark to bring back the warmth.

I hope daniele will have no end game with alexander since whatever the reason is, he only give her too much grievencess. I hope there will be another male character with stronger present than alexander to have the end game with daniele. Hated that in the name of love or protection alexander can treat another woman better, not just once, but with this new lorie girl... Oh my blood pressure getting higher cause by the new plot :(...

OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
