The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1371

That evening, Alexander Davidson and Danielle Crawford attended a gala together.

The star-studded event marked the grand finale of the annual business summit. Only the wealthiest and most influential figures in Hartwell had secured an invitation.

A subtle ripple of excitement swept through the entrance of the banquet hall as Danielle strolled in, her hand resting gracefully on Alexander's arm.

She wore a floor-length burgundy velvet gown that clung to her stunning curves. Beside her, Alexander looked striking in a sharply tailored black suit that accentuated his broad shoulders and narrow waist, making him look as imposing as a pine tree.

Walking side by side, they were a match made in heaven, exuding an unmatched elegance that instantly made them the center of attention.

"Mr. Davidson, Miss Crawford, the two of you truly are a perfect pair!"

The first to approach them was a white-haired older gentleman, the chairman of a well-established corporation. Having watched The Davidson Group grow into an empire under Alexander's leadership, his face was full of approving smiles. "Having you both here tonight brings true brilliance to the hall."

Alexander gave a slight nod, a faint smile playing on his lips. "You're too kind, Chairman," he replied with steady composure.

Danielle matched his grace with a polite smile, offering a slight nod. "Good evening, Chairman."

As soon as the words left her mouth, a crowd swarmed around them.

The crisp clinking of champagne glasses echoed through the room, accompanied by endless compliments. Most of the chatter revolved around how perfect they looked together.

Others expressed their admiration for The Davidson Group's booming success under Alexander's helm, using the toasts as an excuse to strike up a conversation and hopefully land a partnership.

With her hand still resting on Alexander's arm, Danielle navigated the social pleasantries with effortless charm.

Whenever someone offered a toast, she took only a small sip—just enough to be polite without letting herself get caught in an awkward position.

Alexander nodded, though he still looked a bit concerned. "Be careful. Call me if you need anything."

Danielle agreed, turning and making her way toward the restrooms.

She walked slowly, gently massaging her temples.

The wine she had during the toasts was finally catching up with her, leaving her head feeling heavy.

She took a few deep breaths of the fresher air, trying to clear her mind, but her steps naturally slowed down.

The restroom was at the end of the hallway. Danielle reached the door and was just about to push it open when a sudden wave of dizziness hit her. Her vision blurred, and her body swayed forward out of control.

Startled, she instinctively reached out to brace herself against the wall, but before her fingers could even touch the cold surface, a pair of strong arms reached out from beside her and caught her firmly by the waist.
