Chapter 239 No More Escape
For a second, Abel’s brain couldn’t keep up either he quickly turned around, along with the rest of the bodyguards, facing away from them.
Honestly, it wasn’t just Abel who was stunned. Stella’s mind was a mess too
She had thought that after what happened last night, they would at least need some time to adjust, to figure things out.
But Abraham wasn’t giving anyone time to react–not even her.
She struggled instinctively, but her little hands were quickly pinned down by Abraham.
His magnetic voice was low and hoarse, laced with dangerous heat. “Still trying to run, hmm?”
1–it’s not that..” Stella stammered, unable to string a full sentence together.
By the time Abraham finally let her go, Stella was already breathing heavily, her cheeks flushed crimson.
Abraham leaned their foreheads together, his voice low and warm. “What are you doing here? Hmm?”
had thought she’d sleep after eating. She always needed lots of rest and food to get over a cold faster.
Heb
That was why he’d asked Abel to bring Cooka over while Stella napped.
Stella, her face still buried against his chest, mumbled, “Marie’s coming
Abraham froze.
“She called you?”
Stella nodded guiltily. “She said to pick her up at the airport in three hours.”
Earlier on the call. Marie had warned her over and over not to tell Abraham
Yet the second she hung up, Stella had turned right around and ratted her out without blinking.
A cold glint fiashed in Abraham’s eyes.
“Abel,” he called, his voice chilly.
Abel, still standing stiffly with his back to them, quickly turned around at the command. “Sir.”
“Find out where that little brat is right now.”
For the past two years, Marie had been tearing the world apart trying to find Stella.
Both Abraham and Abel knew if Marie got her hands on Stella, there would be hell to pay.
That girl was slippery- always thinking two steps ahead.
“Got it, Abel said.
“Once you find her, have someone send her back. Keep a close watch. Whoever was in charge of guarding her this time can go report for punishment”
Abraham’s tone was colder than the snowstorm outside.
The fact that Marie had actually managed to sneak out infuriated him.
Abel nodded again and quickly left.
Feeling the gentle pressure on the back of her heal, Stella obediently stayed still.
He carried her through the glass corridor, where the world outside was buried under heavy snow, and finally back to their
“What do you want for dinner?” he askeil, his voice much gentler now.
“Anything’s fine,” Stella answered, still a little distracted.
Abraham thought for a moment. “With all this snow, maybe
“Hot pot! Stella cut in eagerly.
Every time the weather turned freezing, she and Tessa would sneak out for hot pot.
Abraham chuckled and tapped her forehead lightly. “You think you’re in any condition for that?”
Stella pouted. “Fine.”
Right, With the injuries she had now especially in that spot–spicy food was definitely a bad idea.
Abraham lowered his head, brushing his forehead lightly against hers. “Still a little warm.”
Stella tried to pull back, but her arms buckled, and she collapsed straight onto the bed.
Abraham raised an eyebrow. “What’s this supposed to mean, Stella?”
Her face froze instantly.
*—it was an accident!”
God he’s gonna misunderstand!
Lying down right in front of him like this it looked way too much like an invitation.
But it’s really not!
Stella’s face burned scarlet.
From last night until now, everything felt like a dream she hadn’t woken from yet.
She still hadn’t fully adjusted to the sudden, drastic shift in their relationship.
She instinctively grabbed at the blanket, trying to pull it up to hide.
But Abraham leaned down his kiss falling onto her lips.
Gentle at first.
Lingering.
So full of longing it made Stella’s heart tremble.
He had wanted her for so long. And now that he finally had her, he couldn’t get enough.
Right as the moment was about to spiral completely out of control — Abraham pulled back, releasing her.

Ch 489 Doesn’t this prove that Dan doesn’t actually have amnesia? Why would he go to the island with a strange woman and why would he steal from Derrick? He doesn’t know them....
Ch 488 I feel like this is going to be what Stella stole in his study in Pagenda or wherever his estate was....
Ch 485 I thought it was going to be the Reed family mine that she robbed, thus taking the Keenes product and leaving them in that situation....
Ch 483 o then, how did the Reeds fine her? How did they not know where she was from?...
Ch 477 Definitely hidden pedo in here, referring to tiny women as little girls in every way possible....
Ch 468 How could Stella inherit her adopted father’s weak stomach constitution?...
Ch 468 Abraham and Marie’s mother has been called Evelyn, Diane and Loretta.. which is it? Evelyn has been the most used....
Ch 465 She still doesn’t know the mistress is Lillian’s aunt?...
Ch 464 Why didn’t she kick her out herself be for she went to attack the mistress…...
Ch 463 This is stupid now. I understand being scared in his presence enough to not think straight, but she’s a lone more often than not and has plenty of time to think things through, especially if she has time to get gossip from Rivermount and report to Stella....
