Derrick was furious. “I’m not turning her over until I get my stuff.”

Right now, the only real leverage I had over Abraham was Stella.

If I sent her back, how could I ever expect to get what I wanted?

Just hurry up. Derrick snapped, ending the call without warning. Then he grabbed Stella’s chin.
