The Year I Was the Other Woman To Myself novel Chapter 558

They immediately raced to an abandoned factory on the outskirts of the city.

Hamilton's bodyguards were at the entrance and blocked their way.

"I need to see Hamilton!" Natalie shouted at them.

The guards, most of whom recognized Natalie, exchanged glances before one of them went inside.

A few moments later, he ran back out and said that only Natalie was allowed in.

Penelope quickly grabbed Natalie's arm, shaking her head.

"Hamilton is a violent maniac right now. If you go in there, you'll be walking into the lion's den!"

"I still have to go in and save Dylan!"

"Maybe there's another way."

"We can't wait."

Natalie pulled her hand free from Penelope's grasp and rushed inside, disappearing into the thick darkness of the night.

As the gate closed behind her, a sense of dread washed over Penelope. She had a terrible feeling that something was about to go wrong.

Natalie ran into the factory complex and saw a light on in a warehouse not far away. She hurried toward it. Just as she reached the entrance, she heard a scream. Her heart tightened as she rushed inside, only to see Dylan, a sack over his head, being beaten by Hamilton.

Hamilton had truly lost it. He was in his pajamas and slippers, his hair a mess, looking like he'd just rolled out of bed and grabbed a club to start beating someone. He was unleashing his fury, swinging the club with a low roar accompanying each blow.

Dylan, who knows how long he'd been beaten, could only manage weak cries of pain.

"Hamilton, stop!"

Natalie lunged forward to stop him but was violently shoved aside, stumbling to the ground.

He glared at her, his rage reaching its peak.

"It wasn't him! The man I was with back then wasn't him!" Natalie cried out desperately.

Hamilton's lips curled into a sneer before he raised the club and brought it down again with brutal force. With that blow, Dylan slumped to the ground, unconscious, as blood seeped through the sack.

This time, she sank her teeth into his forearm where his sleeve was rolled up, biting down with all her might, not caring about the taste of blood in her mouth.

Hamilton was momentarily shocked, but the sharp pain brought him back to his senses. He grabbed her hair, tore her away, and raised his hand…

But the slap never landed. He froze when he saw her eyes—the same eyes that once held so much love for him now burned with pure rage and hatred.

"You betrayed me for this piece of shit!" he roared, his voice thick with disbelief.

"I told you, it wasn't him!"

"You're still defending him!"

"It wasn't him! It was someone else. A man who was more handsome, gentler, and better than you!"

"Natalie!"

"Hamilton, if you want to kill someone, then kill me!"
