The Year I Was the Other Woman To Myself novel Chapter 613

Timothy was out of town on business, but he had contacted a friend of his who was supposedly an expert in the field.

Penelope knew Judy would try to stop her, so after making the arrangements, she pocketed the broken phone and quickly left the hospital, heading straight for Timothy's friend's house.

But when the friend saw how badly the phone was damaged, he just shook his head. "It's probably impossible to recover the data, but I can give it a try."

He took the phone to his workshop and tinkered with it for over an hour, but had no success.

All Penelope could do was thank him and start thinking of another plan.

"My friend told me about the phone. If he can't fix it, it's pretty much a lost cause," Timothy said when he called.

Penelope frowned. "But the data on this phone is really important."

"In that case, you'll need someone more skilled, with better tech. There might still be a chance."

"Who?"

"You'll have to go to my brother-in-law."

"Theodore?"

"He has a tech company filled with the top talent in the field. If he can't do it, then no one can."

"I doubt he'll help me."

"How will you know if you don't try?"

After hanging up, Penelope hesitated for a long time before finally calling Theodore, only to find he had blocked her. Gritting her teeth, she drove straight to Theodore's villa in the city center.

"Dad came home from work, gave us both a spanking, and then left. He's still not back," Julian said.

"When Dad disciplined him, he just threw a tantrum, saying he missed his mommy and wanted to go home. He didn't even realize he was wrong, so Dad spanked him."

After hearing the story, Penelope grabbed Hubert by the ear.

Hubert stopped crying and quit his act, immediately begging for mercy. "Mommy, I was wrong! I'll never eat candy again!"

"And?"

"I'll go apologize to Alva!"

Figuring Theodore had already disciplined him enough, Penelope let go without another spanking.

"But why did your dad spank you too?" she asked Julian.

"I told you, I got dragged into it," Julian pouted.
